You shouldn't have come back.
I know you dream of her while you sleep next to me.
(i already had too many turns)
be that girl who never backed down.
You know [Seth's] not going to answer, right? He knows you betrayed him.
I'll never get over that in the same episode that Kate stares Seth down when he advances on her, proving herself is equal to him in the little power play he was trying to pull, Sonja backs down in a matter of seconds when he does the same thing.
More, because Kate was alone with him in a hotel room while Sonja was in her own building where the public was within sight, and yet Kate stood there and wouldn't back down, wouldn't move, wouldn't give Seth the upperhand while Sonja dropped her gaze, ducked her head and moved to give him the space.
It speaks so much as to not only to the relationship Seth has with each of them, but it also sets up in episode one the running parallel between Kate and Sonja that would last even into season 3.
