small life update

Hey y’all, just wanted you to know I’m doing fine, but I’ve obviously been quiet here for... all of Spring? Goodness. 

I’ve been busy; I’m studying to get my driver’s license, working to present Dragon Tamed Chapter 1, and had some mental health flare ups to manage. 

Doctor Mew needs a lot of text that I haven’t been able to sit down and finish yet. Since exams and commissions are coming up in the next few weeks, I don’t know when I can finish and post it! It’s a bummer, but social media can wait.

I just want you all to know I love all your nice comments and tags, they’re a highlight of my every day. Thanks for the support <3 Stay safe!

I’m truly so stoked to show y’all the finished Doctor Mew illo. It’s so close to done!! I’ve stared at it so much I sometimes forget how much it’s grown since the last WIP I showed online. Funny cute cartoon kitties, yay!

Tomorrow’s my birthday, so you’ll have to wait until then for me to reveal some more of Doctor Mew :P I’ve gotten quite far along this week. Nearly finished inking as well as flatting almost all the cats, accessories and the cat tree. Six, however, is still but a ghostly sketch. 

Here’s how the Fugitive Doctor was coming along right before I started flatting in her colours!

Oh it’s totally cool to reblog my wips, thanks for asking! I like it even more when people make sure to reblog the finished work as well, when that’s posted. That’s what the wips are leading up to, after all :3

Fave thing about this Asgore design of mine is his teeeeny tiny crown! Lookit that! It's like a water lily! 

(Also one of my fave shots overall. Probably because I sketched this in 2019 and not 2017 XD)

What I've learned from drawing the goat monster Dreemurrs and my OC Griseldir's cow- and lion-inspired dragon form: 

If you take away the lion nose from a lion, it just looks like a bovine. 

If you add a beard/mane to a bovine, it just looks like a lion.
