It honestly looked more like the interrogation room, one of the desks pulled to the center of the room, Lucy sat in one of the swivel chairs, elbows on the desk, fingers steepled.

In front of her were the secret admirer letters, and a small video player.

So when the door opens, she’s ready.

The swearing does get him to momentarily frown, but Hershel doesn’t remark on it. Instead, he allows his son to sock him in the shoulder... but he can tell the punch wasn’t thrown very hard, gauging on the knockback being almost nonexistent. It’s still a very interesting experiment in how pain just doesn’t factor into his ‘unlife’ anymore.

While he doesn’t know much about  Alfendi ‘s life he did know that the young man was struggling. Trying to go to school and work, he overheard something about trying to take care of a younger sibling at home as well. Life was hitting this boy hard and he didn’t seem that he had much help.

God where the hell could his stupid brother be?
