When I was sewing it into a scarf, I put in pins to keep it in place, and IT WAS SO FLUFFY I LOST ALL THE PINS. I’d put a pin in, and immediately lose track of where I’d put it, because it is SO FLUFFY you couldn’t see them. It just swallows the pins! I had to feel them out again very carefully in order to get them out!

EEEE SOFT! (My boss has had to replace 2 ethernet cables in the last month or so for the same reason! It's strangely pleasing for me when I get texts saying only "No internet due to bunny" though :D)

2. What have been some of your past special interests?

I’ve had many! Most notably: greek mythology, rubik’s cubes, dogs, planes/flying, and architecture. 

4. What is guaranteed to make you happy stim? 

anything soft or fluffy or floofy! Big fluffy cats! Giant fluffy dogs! anything related to bunnies! soft fabric! 

anything related to stationery! new pens! good paper! colorful notebooks! 

anything with shiny geoemetric shapes, especially if they’re colorful!

harry potter stuff! 

basically anything related to my special interests! 

5. What are some of your happy stims?

Flapping is my biggest one! I do full arm flaps. It’s often accompanied by high pitched squeaking or “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.” I also bounce up and down or jump on the balls of my feet!  

7. What are your favourite textures?

For touch, basically anything really soft! Including: my Supreme Soft Blanket, my cat, my bunny, Jewel’s ears, extra soft fabric.

For eating, my favorite texture in the world is cookies and cream ice cream.

My absolute favorite thing to do is to rub my face on / kiss the top of my cat’s head. It has the most comforting smell and it’s so soft and fluffy and perfect on my face!

Maybe I'm being a Shit for this, but this feels really... idk, obnoxious, somehow? (The phrasing of the ask, I mean! All, erm, three words of it :D) Like, it's technically an Ask, but sounds more like a demand to me, and that would set my Defensive Reactions off, so kudos for replying so calmly, basically :D

It tripped that wire in me, too! but i couldn’t figure out specifically why, so thanks for putting it into words! it made me feel upset about the request whereas an ordinary ask  (i.e. “hey could you tag the q slur please?”) would not have caused the same reaction

and there is already lots of debate going on surrounding this issue (which i mostly think is bullshit but that’s another post) and so i think i’m extra defensive about it, so tripping my defensive brain into a more defensive stance isn’t very great but

1. Ear plugs or ear defenders?

Both! At the same time! 

I actually don’t use ear defenders because they’re annoying with glasses. So earplugs are my usual go-to. I like the silicone ones because they’re squishy enough that they don’t hurt my ears and they’re easy to take out/put in. They can also be washed off super easily, so that is good. I don’t like the foam ones. 

3. Loud or quiet?

quiet quiet quiet quiet all the way! 

I hate loud noises, because they’re very painful, with the exception of occasional self-controlled Noise Stimming, but I only do that for short periods of time because it wears me out and becomes uncomfortable very quickly. 

5. Lots of clothes or no clothes?

Lots of clothes! Especially soft ones. I wear many layers at a time and they’re all soft! 

8. Touching or no touching?

I crave positive touches, but only specific types of touch are okay! fluff-ruffling is always a safe bet. hugs are good and sitting close is good! Do Not Pat My Arm/Back

9. Eye contact or no eye contact?

no eye contact! usually. sometimes if i know someone really well, and am really comfortable with them, i find myself making occasional eye contact. but generally i hate it and do not force myself to do it.

12. Rough or gentle?

Gentle but firm! I don’t like light touches, as it sets me off, but i’m very sensitive and rough touches hurt, so gentle but firm is a good way to go! 

13. Barefoot or shoes?

Never barefoot! Socks are always a Must, and I insist on wearing slippers in the house, even when it’s hot. 

15. Reading or audiobooks?

Audiobooks! I have incredible difficulty reading and cannot read books. So I listen to lots of audiobooks! 

19. Body stims or visual stims?

Body stims! Rocking and flapping and fluffing things and ruffling my own fluff and touching soft things!

Yes! I am also primarily a Bunny Person because I am indeed a smol bunny fluff. :D 

13. Inside or outdoors?

It depends a lot on the indoors and outdoors involved and things! But I very much enjoy being outdoors - especially when it is cool (45-65 degrees F), cloudy, and not buggy or humid. I like to walk in parks and sit on porches and swing on swings. But being outside still takes some spoons, so when I am tiredest or lacking spoons, I tend to prefer indoors to recuperate. Indoors = predictability and stability. 

My compromise tends to be me staying indoors and having windows open when it’s cool out! 

17. Would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”?

I would say that my tumblr is the most accurate representation of me you’ll find. My tumblr is me without the vast majority of my protective layers. People who know me on tumblr/online know me far better than any of my irl friends.
