"Merry Christmas," he says. He tried, he really did, but the bag Nice presents to Murasaki holds a terrible mess of a wrapped box, almost as if he'd actually fought it with his fists. It's a scarf, terribly bright, light purple and plush to the touch -- not the original Yokohama Safety Club scarf, but hopefully it's just as good.

He’s going to be perfectly honest - when Nice presented him the gift, he was fully expecting something crude or a joke. He didn’t expect something so, well, nice. Momentarily speechless, Murasaki pulls the scarf out of its crude wrappings and drapes it around his neck. 

‘It’s lovely,’

and he means it. 

‘I, uh, was half expecting you to get me a joke gift, so I got you these.’ 

They were a pair of dark grey sweat pants with a set of light pink hand prints on the ass. Suspiciously enough, they resemble Murasaki’s hands. He sheepishly hands Nice the neatly wrapped package.

⦓ ❈ ⦔ What an unfortunate coincidence, and here Art had been hoping for a peaceful night. Though he’d been keeping to the shadows, that was no guarantee that the other wouldn’t see him; either way, he kept an eye on Nice as he attempted to slink off unnoticed.
