Still not better than a good song or a getting the right folks in the room but they’ll help make whatever you’re working on sound amazing. Did some 6- and 12-string guitar tracking the other day with Devin dialing in the tones and... wow. Fastest, best acoustic sound I’ve ever gotten. Not as good as the guitars on the first Big Star album but, shit, what is? These are literally the settings and the mics used.
