Life is full of immense chaos, and we never know how small changes affect global processes. Thus, the "butterfly effect" can be applied to mental processes, considering the development of each individual as a guarantee of the development of all mankind.

Just as the Butterfly Nebula contains both the fading of old stars and the radiance of nascent stars, so humanity today is on the verge of transition from one state to another. Change is always a pain for the past and a joy for the future, and to go through the inner transformation, one must learn to see the beauty and grandeur of this process. After all, only by realizing that everything is inextricably linked, we are able to find new ways to discover the potential of the inner universe.

Ascensión a la Cumbre del Volcán Lonquimay

El volcán Lonquimay está ubicado en el sector andino de la Región de la Araucanía en Chile. Es un estratovolcán simétrico de 2858 m.s.n.m, con un cráter elíptico de 700 metros de diámetro en su eje principal formado durante los últimos 80 mil años. Está compuesto por un estratocono principal y por una cadena de centros adventicios más pequeños presentes hacia el noreste a lo largo de una fisura de 8 km de longitud y orientación similar denominada ‘Cordón Fisural Oriental’. A lo largo de su evolución el volcán ha producido flujos de lava, flujos piroclásticos, flujos laháricos y caída piroclástica, esencialmente de composición andesítica, aunque composiciones andesítico-basálticas y dacíticas también han estado presentes. Las coladas de lava alcanzan incluso el río Cautín, distante a más de 18 km del volcán. Una característica especial es la presencia de un glaciar confinado en el cráter de la cumbre de este volcán. El cual representa la masa de hielo de mayor envergadura que se puede encontrar en las cercanías a su estructura.

Ascent to the Summit of Lonquimay Volcano

Lonquimay Volcano is located in the Andean sector of the Araucanía Region in Chile. It is a symmetric stratovolcano rising 2,858 meters above sea level, with an elliptical crater about 700 meters in diameter along its main axis, formed over the last 80,000 years. The volcano consists of a main stratocone and a chain of smaller adventive centers extending northeast along an 8 km-long fissure with a similar orientation, known as the “Cordón Fisural Oriental.” Throughout its evolution, the volcano has produced lava flows, pyroclastic flows, lahars, and pyroclastic fall deposits, primarily of andesitic composition, although andesitic–basaltic and dacitic compositions have also been present. Some lava flows have even reached the Cautín River, located more than 18 km from the volcano. A notable feature is the presence of a glacier confined within the summit crater, representing the largest ice mass found on this volcano.
