When you find some images you forgot about...

So, I was cleaning up the Mac Storage and doing some IT house keeping today, when i found a few images I’d forgotten about from a London trip in November 2019.

They’re all from the east End of London, the Bethnal Green area.

I love visiting London and in fact since Lockdown started to ease a bit, i’ve had another trip down there.  I will write a blog and share a few images from that visit over the next week or so.

I just returned from the Lake District in the UK yesterday also, so I’ve a very short video and some images to post up here also, so keep checking in for that content.

I love the hustle and bustle of London, but then I also love the serenity, beauty and back to nature feel of the Lake District.  Opposite ends of the spectrum, i know, but what I see of myself is as time goes by, I appreciate whats around me more and I realy do feel that the UK has a great deal to offer the would be traveller.

I like to get away from the touristy parts of London, which is why i head off to what i like to think is the real, every day London.  To capture what ordinary people are doing day to day on the streets of London.

A Blast from the Past.

I find it’s always good to look back a few years to see where you were at with your work then, to compare where you are now.

If nothing else, it can be great reminder of lovely memories.

I was sorting through some images today when I came across some images I took just over 3 years ago. I was on a test run for a new camera.

I had originally bought the camera for video, but quickly realised it’s stills capability.

These shots were taken in the beautiful, unspoiled location of Newborough Beach in Anglesey, North Wales.  

The location boasts some awesome views, with beautiful, golden sandy beaches, bordered by sand dunes.  Just beyond the dunes are ancient  forests, dominated mainly by Pines.  On the horizon, looking East, you can make out the Snowdonian Mountain range.

It is truly a stunning location.

We really must return and do an up to date shoot.  I’ve shot some fashion at this location for an award winning Fashion Designer, which is when I first discovered this location, around 2015-2016.

I’ve shot some lovely drone footage here also and been on a stunning walk or two in the beautiful surrounding forest.
