Study based on an OC, Soonsa 'Mol :3

I just did the sketch for this on @sangheiliscribbles, but I loved it so much I had to finish it immediately. And it came out even better than I thought it would despite testing the line and color techniques.

Senpai, may I please ask for a crumb of Soonsa 'Mol lore? 人(_ _*) a succulent crumb of lore?

Well, I don’t have a lot set in stone BUT I do have a few crumbs:

She is Ussan, a Sangheili who was raised on the Refuge within an isolated group who never participated in the human-Covenant war

She enjoys float fight competitions, and was hoping to compete when she got older, but changed course when making contact with what would eventually become part of the swords of Sanghelios (ref. ‘Broken Circle’); this is also why she is highly skilled at close quarters combat

She became a pilot when joining the swords of Sanghelios, after also taking basic training within Vadam Keep

She never saw an ocean until she went to Sanghelios, but she thinks they are beautiful and spent her first period of free time during training to go to the coast and stand with her feet in the water

She has an older sister who studies medicine and remained on the Refuge, upset Soonsa left

I will probably share a lot more as time goes on, I already have more art ideas sketched for her even, so I hope you'll enjoy hanging around for it if you'd like XD
