It’s wild to me how many people are complaining about Love Like the Galaxy moving slowly, or being too serious?

Maybe because I’m comparing it to Ming Lan, by the same writer, but this show is moving so fast? In the first episode we’re thrown into her parents coming home (no establishing trauma episodes of how her grandma/aunt treated her) and the ML already with a crush on her, we quickly meet the second lead and third lead who fall for her in the same scene, pretty much On Sight at the Same Moment. In the same ep, the ML is well on his way to having unearthed the conspiracy that lead to his Major Childhood Trauma??

By ep. 18, the female lead has orchestrated a major comeuppance for her bullies, made a new best friend, moved towns to live with her aunt, helped undermine a rebellion, spent time healing injured soldiers and townspeople, and gotten engaged?????????

This show is zooming through The Best Hits as if it were a reunion album, and I love it!

So, the reason the second new character for Idol Land PriPara won’t be revealed until May is because they will be unveiled at WITH/lations, the upcoming WITH concert on May 8th.
