The Southern Water Tribe stood for a hundred years against the Fire Nation, indomitable until Sozin's Comet tipped the balance in Fire Lord Ozai's favour. Now, as planned, the South is decimated, Chief Hakoda is a puppet on his throne, and Princess Katara is a political prisoner held in the Fire Nation capital to ensure his good behaviour. But Ozai has little time to gloat. A vigilante masquerading as the Blue Spirit is causing unrest among the people, rebel ships still hound his navy, and right under his nose the South's most powerful waterbender waits with the patience of ice to strike at the very heart of his empire and bring it crashing down.

Fandom Trumps Hate 2025

Ever wanted an audio version of your favorite fic? Or a fic that you wrote? I've been working on a lot of podfic recently, and also feeling a lot of existential dread because of... the world, so I decided to sign up for Fandom Trumps Hate this year!

My auction page link is at the bottom of the post, but in short: if you want a fic of 25k words or less recorded (and an album cover like the ones below), you can make a bid in the FTH auction between February 25, 2025 and March 1, 2025, and if you place the winning bid, I'll record the (SFW) fic of your choice in exchange for you making a donation to a FTH-supported charity! I'm obviously heavily biased toward Zutara, but I'm willing to consider recording for a variety of other ships within ATLA, and I'm absolutely willing to consider recording for other fandoms if requested. Plus, if I don't win any FTH auctions myself, I'll probably match the donations from my auction winners.

They have spent the past year meticulously planning every detail of the day, from the venue, to the music, to the food, and look forward to finally becoming husband and wife. But of course, because of their prominent roles in the world, nothing can go to exactly to plan, now can it? How will they make it down the aisle with middle of the night interruptions, death threats, and Sokka’s rumbling stomach abound?
