Vaiko Eplik is an Estonian musician born in 1981. He’s been making music since 2006.

This track ‘Soorebased’ has a very retro, throwback 1960ish sound. One comment on YouTube compares the beat to The Beatles’ ‘Taxman’ and yeah, I can hear that but it’s way, way more edgy/funky than that.

Liked it so much I tossed it Ian Rankin’s way. He’s always on the lookout for great new stuff. He hadn’t heart of Vaiko Eplik. Now he has.
