⚜ What is the best time to write for you? Why?
Ah, the mighty fleurs-de-lis.
Anyway, my best time to write is at night. Now that I’m on night shift, that’s just because it’s when I’m awake and active. Previously it was because that’s when I was tired enough to bypass the little man in my head who constantly throws fits, sets my drafts on fire, and declares everything I write garbage.
Nowadays, I have whiskey for that.
☺ What’s a character that you desperately want your muse to play with? Why?
As awful as it sounds, I really don’t have any. I’m really amazingly bad at keeping track of who’s who, so I’ll usually just put out a starter call, see who responds, and try to have fun. It usually works out, and it keeps me from playing favorites among muns, which is a nice bonus.
Besides, I have enough trouble keeping people straight in my head irl, that tracking which iteration of Canon Character X we’re on gets confusing. We’ve been through two Serenas since I started playing Calem and I’m not really looking forward to number 3 because I’m going to start getting them all mixed up.
▼ Do you keep your character in character even if they are one of the worst people in the world?
With Calem, it’s not really that difficult to hold him in character once I drag him screaming from his hole.
About … shoot, I guess it’s at or close to a year ago now, I played Ghetsis in another group and that was honestly one of the most disturbing things I’ve done since trawling the SCP Foundation wiki. Holding that headspace was genuinely terrifying, because that fucker was a stone-cold monster and it wasn’t that hard for me to hang onto him. Had to drop him because the last thing I need is another reason to become a serial killer, and his absolute disconnection from anything that vaguely resembled human decency and mercy was chilling to experience.
