I did not plan on being out so late tonight. My feet and back are aching and I'm dehydrated and super tired. But todays been great.

I slept alright last night. I had dreams of the ocean. And when I woke up it felt chilly like I remember some early mornings at the beach. And this made me want Mcdonalds hot cakes. I don’t know if tis ever really happened but I have memories of it. So I got ready quick enough to bike over to mcdonalds before work. The lady at the register didn’t hear me order the hotcakes though and so had to go through and fix the order. And I felt like I messed up but its fine. All handled.

I got to work and it was just me and Don. I had my breakfast and was done before my shift even started. I did had to run upstairs for ketchup for my hashbrown though because they didn’t give me any.

Work was a lot of fun. I did some cleaning. And I worked on cleaning the gate off my bronze. I texted with mom to order some stuff for the tiny gallery show I'm putting up. Grinding the gate off my bronze was annoying mostly because my gloves were really hurting my hands and I'm half glad I wont need them anymore in a month and can throw them away because they are terrible. I found some other gloves someone left behind that didn’t hurt my hands as much and got a good amount ground off in less then an hour.

I spent the rest of the morning helping with appointments and cleaning. I read for a while. it was a nice day. Me and Don talked about graduation and my install and stuff. It was a good day. it got really busy at one point, but Michaela came in and we chatted for a bit and that was nice. I like when she comes in to talk.

A little after 1 me and Don collected the cardboard boxes they have been saving for me in the shop and we drove over to the studios. Don is still tickled that they have reserved mentor parking. We went to the stage and discussed the best way to approach this project. Don though taking all the boxes off and organizing two piles would be the best start. So we made a pile of boxes and a pile of dioramas. We moved the whole structure over to its final place. Or at least close to it. We spent a while putting all the dioramas on the tower to try to see what it was going to look like and I'm super pleased. I made enough dioramas that it feels full. Don asked if I could make more and I said no. he said why. I said I have no money. He asked how much money. I didn’t want to think about it so I just made the call that there will be no more dioramas made. I just don’t have it in me. but we made a plan and I'm going to write up a check list and a to do list tomorrow. I'm really thankful for him though!

After some poking around and showing Sam and the first year Jessica the install I walked back to main campus to get my bike. As I was out Don was also coming out of the building and we made faces at eachother.

I stopped at CVS for bread and chips and then over to jimmy johns for a sandwich. It was one of the better ones I've had but I also may have just been really hungry.

I laid down for a few hours. Woke up at 5 and got changed. I wore my new wedges and I love them. I walked up to the studios and met up with Michaela and we drove to Soovac for Sherry’s show. Which was so well done and super cute. But because my thing with Niky and Kiley wasn’t until 830 I was at the gallery for like 2 hours. Thankfully there were many first years to talk to. And when Niky came we took saint portraits. The one she took of me is amazing but she doesn’t like the ones I took of her. But I think she's cute.

We headed over to updown and it was a lot of fun! We got pizza and met up with Kiley’s cousin and his cute friend. We played some games. I really liked pinball. Me and Niky took a photobooth picture! It was just a lot of fun. It was to loud and going out so late still isn’t my thing. But it was nice being social and being with my friends. I'm really glad I get to call Niky that. It means a lot.

I'm home now though. Ready to wash my face and get some sleep. Tomorrow I don’t have figure skating so I'm going to wash my hair and work in the studio. Niky might come and help me and I might go to a board game thing at light grey art lab? Unclear. I really need to work on my piece though and this weekend is the best time for it. So wish me luck and all the energy!

Happy Fall! I'm pleased to invite you to the upcoming exhibit "Hot Chroma" at Soo Visual Arts Center in Minneapolis. The opening is this Saturday, Dec. 12th.
