sansaregina is one of the smartest, most opinionated, i dare say bravest people you’ll meet (seriously i wonder how many things she knows of and as for the bravest it gets more personal but okay) and also she reads a lot a makes preeeetty gifs. also i love her OTP OTP tag idk it makes me smile XD (this came out in english bc it’s weird to ‘you’ at you in italian—what)
morgauseloveshersisters is the sweetest soul on earth, what else can i possibly say, i don’t believe she has a mean bone in her body! also her gifs are so lovely. also(2) we do the same silly things (like buying 2324 editions of a book because pretty covers or period stuff we don’t even like because pretty costumes).
sophbakers is amazing. seriously, you’re amazing. i don’t even remember how it went but we’ve been mutual follows for ages and sometimes you’ll just hit my inbox and encourage me to fangirl with you, which is lovely. what amazes me is that you apparently like my blog WHEN YOUR EDITS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD like how is that possible! and you always have a fantastic, simple-but-classy theme.

top 5 fanfics you read this year? :))
Oh my god. This is a tough question. But an amazing one. I have read such a ridiculous amount of fanfiction this year, and 99% was Les Mis related. I’m not going to manage making a list of five fics.
1. Good Intentions by ecaitlin on AO3Les Mis This is basically the best Harry Potter/anything crossover you will ever read. It has all the ships: ExR, Courferre, etc. It has magic. It’s slow build, mutual pining idiots, matchmaking Courfeyrac. I have read it two or three times, and it is the perfect pick-me-up fic.
2. World Ain’t Ready by idiopathicsmile on AO3Les Mis This is, thank god, still a WIP. And it’s amazing. It has Enjolras and Grantaire as fake boyfriends foR JUSTICE. And they’re in high school. In 2005. It’s basically perfect, and there’s an update every other sunday and it makes me weep whenever I get that mail from AO3 that says there is more. It’s hilarious, the writing is amazing. It’s just <3
3. In the End We Have Each Other by samyazaz on AO3Les Mis: Enjolras finds a baby on his doorstep and freaks out a little, so Grantaire moves in with him because he is like a baby whisperer, and moving in with someone who (seemingly) barely tolerates you is the logical next step. FLUFF and PINING and SLOW BURn.
4. Not a Rom-Com by trickzter on AO3Les Mis: Slow build! Mutual pining! Dad!Grantaire. (I see a trend here). Enjolras is the gloriously hot teacher of Grantaire’s son. Angst, fluff, pining etc ensues.
5. Ransom by Lee RowanHornblower: SOMETHING THAT IS NOT LES MIS! This is/was a Horatio/Archie fic. The author eventually published it, but with original characters. So the original fic was deleted. Though I did get a link from someone, but I can’t find it right now. Lots of angst. Pining. Lots of Pellew, too.
And that is five. This was incredibly difficult. I was scrolling through my AO3 history and I got through to October and I already had ten fics selected. So I am pretty sure there are even better fics. Here are some I wanted to mention as well:
Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité by callervera on AO3Les Mis: A WIP! All of the Amis end up in a fraternity. This is absolutely hilarious.take flight, come home by kiyala on AO3Les Mis: Combeferre/Courfeyrac fluff and pining AND DRAGONS.College Boys and High School Girls by defying3reason on AO3Les Mis: almost 400.000 words. This epic was one of the first big Les Mis fics I read. A LOT of angst. And Situational Irony. Too much angst. You will cry. And cry some more. You won’t be able to stop.
So basically, if you read all of these, you could summarise my taste in fics in: mutual pining, slow burn, ExR as dads, and fake boyfriends. And all of these end in fluff and sexytimes.
