Soply at Websummit
In the beginning of November, Websummit hosted an entire conference only focusing on content. We, of course, had to be there to learn how leading content distributors see the future of content. The speakers had one common message: content needs to be high quality, persona-based and relevant!
A few key takeaways from Websummit 2015
Anna Dickson (Photo Lead, Google) noted, "Visuals are what drives the story - it’s what people are sharing”.
Thomas Crampton (Global MD, Ogilvy) argued that brands need to accommodate persona-based content, which is relevant for the target they want to reach. Thomas Crampton further discussed the emergence of private social networks, which require brands to develop custom content for each persona in order to reach their designated target groups.
Jimmy Maymann (EVP, President for Content & Consumer Brands, AOL) stated, “We don’t have enough video content for them and we can’t create it fast enough”.
What we learned at web summit only confirms what drives the heart of Soply: content needs to be high quality, custom for the brand to drive customer engagement, and the high in volume.
What's new at Soply?
Soply has recently soft-launched ‘Content’; a service enabling brands and agencies to source custom videos, animations, photos, designs and illustrations for their various marketing activities. Taking a marketplace approach, we are able to offer our clients high quality content produced by professionals at prices 70% lower than industry standards. Few brands which have already sourced content through Soply are Kinder Surprise, Tic Tac, and Milk-Slice. We also have just become a preferred partner to Dentsu Aegis Network, who’s aiming at outsourcing a high volume of content production to Soply’s creatives, covering more than 70 countries around the world.
