FUN DAY MONDAY, OR THE BOOKS THAT WILL HELP ME SURVIVE THE WEEK AHEAD (SEPTEMBER 28, 2015)

The work week begins. I quickly slip into my business suit and head back into the office to save a few innocent people. But while I try to fool myself into being excited about the grind, deep down, I’m not, so I’m going to escape dreary reality by reading some great books.

And this week I’m going to be trying to lose myself into this book.

After reading the first book in the series I had high hopes for this one and was left disappointed compared to the first one. Caldans story development was to slow and flipped focus from Miranda to the protectors to much for me. As a character though the pace was good with him developing his skills and understanding his power/abilities. Lady Feliciennes story development was good but I wanted to know more about her and hope that it will be revealed in the future. I found that the most interesting reveals of the plot was when with Lady Felicienne which I liked what I learnt and I definitely want to know more. I can see the characters and the plot developing really well in future books but wish that some of it was in this book. I would definitely read this book again.
