Film review Avengers: Endgame NO SPOILERS

Where do I begin THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS I’VE SEEN. I will be honest how the film started I was oh no it’s not going to be that sort of plot is it. Then I was very releaved that it wasn’t, the cast played their roles the best I’ve seen them play them and the script and story was very well written, the pace of the film was spot on didn’t feel rushed or to slow.

Their was numerous laugh out load moments but the best was Thor simply Thor which I will admit is my favourite MCU character. Robert Downey jr has the best performance of all though. The one character I think was a disappointment was Captain Marvel which I felt was a shame as I really like her solo film but I felt like their was no point to her being in this film at all and they could have done lots more with the character (can’t give details as it would be a spoiler).

Overall would I watch it again: YES probably when it comes out on blu-ray

Film review Avengers: Infinity War

I watched this as part of a double bill and I have watched this before. All I can say is that I even enjoy it more that the first time I watched it, I spoted more of the smaller details that I missed when focused on the what was happening with the main story. Cast was amazing playing the characters as well as you would expect, the plot was well written and didn’t feel rushed.

Would I watch this again: Yes probably when Avengers Endgame is released on blu-Ray

Book review: The Spellmonger book 8: Court Wizard

I have read the previous 8 books in the series I have enjoyed everyone so far and the Court Wizard doesn’t disappoint. The plot this time is around Pentandra starting her new job as Court Wizard of Alshar and being newly married which takes place in tandem with the events of book 7 Enchanter. The story is good and introduces new characters which I can see to be developing well in future books, at times situations made me laugh or cringe with embarrassment. Overall a good addition to a good series of books.

Will I continue with the series: Yes but I listen to audio books so I will have to wait for the next one to be released

Anime review: Wise Man’s Grandchild/Kenja no Mago

I haven’t read this manga so I didn’t know what to expect but I am happy to say that I have enjoyed what I’ve seen so after watching the first 2 episodes. One of my favourite type of plots is action comedies based and this so far is one. The animation is what I would expect.

Will I continue to watch this: Yeah probably

Anime review: Fairy Gone

Another manga I have not read before watching the anime and the synopsis intrigued me. But the first epsode left me a little disappointed because it wasn’t what I was expecting. I did like the basic premise that fairy’s are used as weapons but I wasn’t expecting it to a looking for sister story who is the antagonist. Yes I know I might not be giving it a chance after only one episode. The animation quality and style were great and maybe the story will develop over time.

Will I carry on watching it: Maybe

Anime review: One Punch Man S2E01

Have watched the first season of One Punch Man I have been wanting to know how the plot continued. I don’t like to read the mangas of shows I’ve started to watch as I usually stop watching the anime as I know what’s going to happen. So I have been waiting a while for season 2 to start. I am glad to say that the wait hasn’t been for nothing even though only 1 episode has been released I enjoyed every minute and am anticipating the rest of the season. The animation style was what I expected and the voice actors were also good.

Overall good start to the season and I will do a season review at the end of the season.

Will I continue to watch this anime: Yes

With the start spring season of anime starting I am going to review the first episodes of those that I am feel like watching so to begin with. When the season has finished I will review them again.

Anime review: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

First of I’ve not read the manga so I have no idea where this anime is heading but so far I like what I’ve seen in the first episode was great. The plot appears to good and the animation looks great. I hope that the plot progresses at a steady pace and isn’t rushed near the end.

Will I continue to watch this anime: Yes

I was looking forward to this film and while I did like it you see most of the action in the trailer. The story was good and easy to follow and the effects were as expected. the 15/R ratting was ok, but not having read any of the source material I don’t know if it was needed. The overall the cast was good and Milla Jovovich and David Harbour played their roles well, compared to Ron Perlman I believe that David Harbour portrayed Hellboy just as well and the mannerisms performed by both actors are very similar.

Overall would I buy this on Blu-ray on release probably not.
