Typically those who either very brave or strong, have nothing to fear from him,or are very stupid. Those who he might view as a target and are smart enough to know this wisely keep their distance.

Definitely elegance. This is demonstrated by many of the man’s actions and physical surroundings. Living on a deserted island in an enormous castle makes many things inconvenient but he prefers the large and ornate estate over a smaller home that may be closer to things and people should he need him. He’s the type to spend a long time preparing something to his own liking rather than settling for something less for the sake of being able to relax or be lazy. Mihawk is very particular and is not too ashamed to use his wealth to acquire finer things as he wishes.

It depends on the situation. At first encountering a person he can be quite blunt going so far to assert that the person is wrong or weak. However, he never does this for the sake of being mean but rather for a purpose of stating facts. If a person were to accept his criticism constructively, depending on their relationship he could eventually encourage them to try and keep excelling.

Mihawk very, very, rarely gets angry. He will often be more violent or less inclined to show mercy to his targets or opponents if he’s in a bad mood but the man has only been angry a handful of times in his life -- he finds the emotion needless as well as a distraction.

He doesn’t really contemplate about it, but does enjoy gazing at the moon and stars as they can be seen very clearly from his uninhabited island home.

Mihawk doesn’t think he has any as he typically has 100% confidence in his actions and capabilities. If anything, he regrets his leniency to others sometimes, such as allowing himself to be sucked into Shanks occasional antics and allowing Roronoa to be trained by him although the man ultimately plans on killing him.
