“me? i’m not the one who messed up the routine though.” so maybe that’s supposed to be a light jab at his bruise, but her words are only playful. at least, they’re meant to be. hopefully, he wouldn’t take it so personally. and it’s not like this is the first case of a choreography mishap, god knows it won’t be the last either. she has her moments sometimes too. rare, but plausible. stretching her back to stand upright again, she rotates the upper portion of her body to glance over at the boy, “hey, we just had this dance studio renovated, let’s not carve out windows or start manhandling people, okay? how about a break instead?”
caleb arched an eyebrow at the girl’s words. he didn’t exactly mess up the choreography, he simply ... well, got too lost in it again, closed his eyes and dance the way it felt better. it was something he really needed to control, but the music was too good to stick to a boring choreography. a deep sigh left the male’s lips as he looked at the girl’s reflection in the mirror.
— ❝ i didn’t mess up. I made it better, much better. why do you never listen to my ideas? just because you’re the choreographer? that’s so not fair. ❞
with a sigh slipping past his lips, caleb moved to the wall where he sat his ass down and reached for his bottle of water. he needed a break to clear his mind again — hopefully the break would really help him, because if it didn’t, he’d just give up right then and there and call it a day, go out for a drink or two afterwards.
“What’s wrong? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

Maybe she did. Most days were fine, but then there were days like this, when everything fell together just so- These coincidences, leaving her stunned and longing. The boy’s giggling was heard first, then a blur of flailing limbs and wild tresses- you could never brush them down- passed by. She stepped back to free his path. The faintest scent of bubblegum and bananas wafted behind him. She knew he wasn’t who she wanted to see, but for a split second, wanted to check anyhow. It was March already– Just a few weeks until what would have been their twelfth and forty-eight birthdays. She must have been standing there for too long to be asked such a question. Quickly, she blinked back the tears threatening to form, and looked over at the other woman with a thankful smile, followed by a breathy laugh. “No– He just reminded me of my brother”

What could be better than a small walk after few beers and a walk outside past midnight, it wasn’t like they were drunk maybe a little tipsy, that’s why they decided to go out for a walk to get the feeling off, laughter and stumbling and they kept bumping against each others. “I’m so happy that you decided to come with me, today was fun” he flashed her a grin as he gives a small push to her shoulder, not a big one because he doesn’t want for her to fall of course. “Let’s make it a run and race to the park?” maybe it was a bad idea but for Hoshi, it sounded awesome.

'It tells of the challenges that faces Sam, in mind, body and heart as she works in Africa.' Loved reading this. It’s heart-wrenching, but well worth the read.
