there are a lot of options but i think right now the most compelling one to me is kind of evil!! laila who kind of knows that kk has a thing for her and likes the attention even though she doesn't reciprocate kk's feelings. takes it for granted that she will always be kk's number one priority even when kk has a girlfriend.

and then they go to separate pwhl teams and kk is like, okay, i NEED to get over laila. she is straight and this is never happening and it's killing me. and starts pulling back a little because she finally has the distance to make herself do it. even goes on a date without first doing a four-hour debrief with laila about whether or not the girl is hot and if kk will like her.

and then laila is like, wait. wait. no. not just because she misses her best friend, but because she's is for the first time not getting 100% of kk's attention at all times and she does not like it. starts yanking kk's leash a little and of course kk is desperate to give laila what she wants. and then it devolves into a weird power dynamic thing that laila does not acknowledge is at all romantic or sexual but is very, very, very romantic and sexual for kk.

Thoughts on Halloween 3, *and* assuming that the original Halloween movie is your favourite, what’s your second favourite Halloween movie?

Halloween 3 is underrated both because it’s a franchise film that takes big swings and is mostly successful with them, and also because it’s one of the most batshit bonkers camp watching experiences you can have.

My second favorite Halloween after the original is Halloween (2018)! Maybe it’s because that’s when I started to get into the series, but having rewatched it several times since it came out I think it’s a really solid fun slasher film that does the legacy sequel thing better than most (including its own sequels)
