It all started when she woke up in a strange room. Medical equipment lined the walls and the soft noise of doves cooing filled her ears.
That’s when the man approached her. At first, she scurried away from him, startled by his off putting smile. But then the smile turned into concern for her.
And then he asked if she remembered him.
She shakes her head slowly, looking up at the stranger with a frown.
“No...I...I don’t...I don’t remember anything...n-not even my name...” Hand moves up to her temples to rub them, wincing gently.
“Everything is blurry...I apologize.”
