Ay do you think there are reality-benders among other animal species? The only reason they aren’t found is because their instincts tell them that there’s danger nearby, so the anomaly makes it so it’s true. Like, a reality-bending rat would get spooked by something, immediately assume it’s a predator, then accidentally create said predator and die, seeing as how from what we understand about reality-bending is that it’s based on imagination
Humans are (from what we can tell) the only creatures that function on imagination and not instinct, and since our instincts pretty much only kick into gear with fight-or-flight, we can’t infinitely fuck ourselves over if we think something’s spooky

I do believe that reality bending would also include other species than just humans. Though it would be interesting on seeing how strong they can be like you said they run on instincts most of the time
