Ultimate Cheesy Pepperoni Stromboli – Easy and Delicious!
Ingredients:
1 refrigerated pizza dough
1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
20-25 slices pepperoni
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then layer with pepperoni slices.
Sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, tucking in the ends as you go.
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and cut a few small slits on top for venting.
Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and let cool slightly before slicing.
Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
