Depop’s 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest
In a perfect world, we’d fly our entire U.S. community to Brooklyn this 4th of July, head to our marketing manager’s backyard and have a good old-fashioned hot dog eating contest together. But, because that’s expensive and Joan only has one picnic table, we’re going to do something a little different.
We’re asking you to upload as many items as you can on the 4th of July with the hashtag #sorrymaria. Tuesday morning, we’ll see who uploaded the most items. Not only will that user receive a month of free fees, our CEO has agreed to eat their number of uploads in hot dogs.
Now, these have to be real listings with Instant Pay turned on, people. Shout posts, posts with unreasonably high prices, and re-listings don’t count. Please be cool. We love our CEO and don’t want her to die because she came to America and we made her eat 900 hot dogs.
The number will be announced Tuesday and video/photographic evidence will be posted thereafter. #sorrymaria
