Everyone who complains about fanfic, harasses authors and laughs along with creators who dont have respect for fanfic should sit down and write the fanfic of their dreams.

You actively write fanfic and talk shit? BRO DONT PUT DOWN YOUR COMMUNITY LIKE THAT.......most ccs see fanfic as a joke to laugh at and their audience is probably worse on that. Have you ever had a hate comment thrown at you? Didn't it demolish your heart? Why would you inflict this onto someone? Because their writing 'sucks'? Do you even feel happy with your work or are you always looking up to those who would tear you down in a heartbeat if they knew you even existed? Just curious cuz I can smell a perpetual cycle xD

I am actually so sick of rp smps where the story is mainly told through hours long streams. What happened to YouTube series? what happened to easily bingeable series? What happened to new episodes every week?

I swear they used to be so popular in the 2010s and then DSMP happened and everyone decided thats the way to do it now?? as if the reason DSMP worked wasn't strictly because it started in quarantine where everyone was stuck inside without much to do.

It's made worse by the fact theres so many povs and not many (if any) people who edit their streams down into videos for people who want to follow the story in an easier manner.

Streaming rp smps works so much better as like a garnish to a YouTube series where the main storyline is told (like what the empires smps did sorta?)

(I actually don't know if DSMP necessarily started the trend of streamed roleplayed Minecraft series but it was the first one I personally heard of with that format)

kinda hate how every single male mcyt is drawn as twinks with (some) exceptions. it genuinely pisses me off bc they feminize ALL of them.. it's so much worse with grian tho and i don't like it, why cant he be masculine ? i love feminine men, but it feels like ppl only do it bc of gay stereotypes, he's always paired up with some buff guy while he's the twinky skinny one. i need more chubby grian

My favourite character ship is smalletho and as such I read a lot of smalletho fanfic.... and.... EVERYONE GETS IT WRONG!!! NO-ONE UNDERSTANDS JOEL LIKE I DO!!!!! No-one gets that his smug and aggressive attitude is over-compensation for his inferiority complex. He acts like hes the best in the world because he's deeply terrified of rejection. While he's a strong fighter, he's not tough when it comes to emotional stuff at all! He sees the possibility of an emotion existing and runs in the other direction! Deep down he's a weakling and a pussy!!

I hate a lot of mother spore art. Grian barely called himself that and now there’s ultra twink art of him being motherly. Don’t know why he can’t give himself a feminine title and still be masculine.

And it’s especially worse when you pair him up with Scar when he’s the mayor (or for some reason as hotguy?? That’s not even the same season)

It’s just got underline fetishisation of mlm with the fem twink and hunky man.

i don’t dislike ddvau but i’m so tired of seeing it. every time i open up an app there it is. i never even interact with the posts or the creators and yet it’s literally everywhere. god forbid i try to find other hotguy/cuteguy designs for inspo. i just keep getting ddvau. i even block it the best i can and ITS STILL EVERYWHERE
