Open Starter: Naughty Squirrel
It’s past midnight, and the mall is empty, save for the few cleaning staff making their rounds. As Squirrel Girl swings from a nearby rooftop, she notices something strange—a light still on in the center of the mall. Curious, she silently drops down to investigate, her tail swishing with excitement.
She rounds the corner of a corridor to find Santa, of all people, sitting in his chair by the closed-off Christmas set. It’s odd. She can’t remember the last time the big man in red stayed behind after hours.
With a playful smile, Squirrel Girl steps into the center of the mall, her presence clear and unmistakable.
“Well, well, well, Santa,” she says, her voice low and teasing. “I didn’t expect to find you here all alone after hours. Should I be worried about what’s in that sack, or are you the one who should be worried about me?”
Her gaze flickers over their, her eyes tracing their form with a mischievous twinkle. She steps closer, a purposeful sway in her hips as her tail flicks behind her, brushing against the floor with each step.
Squirrel Girl leans against a nearby pillar, crossing her arms and giving them a knowing smile. “So, tell me, Santa... Am I on the naughty list this year, or are you thinking about making a few exceptions?”
