Got the base paint set up for this Destiny themed piece. I must say, ever since doing my drafts in gray scale like this my sense of lighting has gotten so much better. The whole composition really. owo

Another 2 hour speed paint for practice. This time it's Quincey, another original character from my Ayngl series. Loads to improve on but eh. It was 2 hours. Going to start looking up some hair tutorials soon!
This is a sculpt I’m working on for Art Station’s Beneath the Waves Challenge. His design is based off of concepts I made during the Concept phase of the challenge. His name is Hiro. A nautilus-like creature that is a hard worker and a parent who guards his clutch of young hatch-lings.
Was very busy today, but I manage to get this done for my client so they could determine whether they wanted their commission done in one of the two. They wanted this one. Still got some fixes but I managed to figure out her 'clothes' that is possibly the most challenging aspect of this piece is making sure her ribbons flow and lay right on her according to the reference I have
