Hiii Marty! #18 and 24 for the oc(s) of your choice pls? 💕
!!! thank you soso!!! will answer for Dana because i do not talk about her as much as i think abt her
18. What's their favorite scent?
Dana's a perfume girlie in a way that is so far from my realm of expertise but based on what I know about her it's Allegra Baciami Eau de Parfum. the description of this includes 'Moroccan jasmine, lily of the valley and warm sandalwood'. it's frivolous and expensive and Dana wears it for as often as possible.
24. What's their favorite (non-sexual) place to be kissed?
she melts every time anyone leans over to give her a little shoulder kiss. from nat specifically, she loves the little kiss she'll get as they're untangling from each other and nat will v softly kiss the crook of her elbow :,)
Hiii! Can we get 18, 23 and 24 for Odile and Leir pls? 💕💕
What is one thing that they only let those closest to them see?
Leir: their vulnerability.
Odile: xyr hands.
What sort of routines, rituals or rules do they have or set for themselves?
Leir: any routine they might have wasn't chosen but rather imposed by their role; they're used to a strict schedule, but they don't necessarily enjoy that...
Odile: gardening 🤭 more to be revealed in the story but it's a Ritual(tm) to xem!
Is mental, physical, or emotional well-being more important to them?
Leir: if it's about themself, no form of well-being is essential lmao when it comes to others all of them but they'd probably be concerned about physical the most (because they feel like they're actually able to help with that one)!
Odile: for xemself, physical; as long as xe can walk xe's fine ig 😂 for others I think xe'd value emotional well-being the most.
3. what do you think drew your detective to A? did they use flirt options with that first gaze in the detective’s office, or did their attraction come later?
liv is definitely attracted to her from the start (right until she opens her mouth, jk...partly) like the broad shoulders and brooding and the intense gaze definitely do it for her <3 and yes she does flirt with her pretty much right away bc she's impulsive and cannot help herself and she's just too curious to see how ava would react. actual romantic attraction came a little bit slower but one thing that definitely draws her in right from the start is that calm security she gives off, like despite her being such an ass to her she immediately feels very safe around her. she also quickly comes to really admire how determined she is despite it often being quite annoying (if only she wasnt so determined to deny her feelings). and she finds it really sweet how protective she gets and how much she obviously cares about her team. basically she was pretty into her right away though avas asshole behavior dampened that a tiny little bit (but not for long obviously)
6. if your detective heard sanja’s prophecy for A, how would they feel about it?
if she like overheard the whole conversation she'd probably be too busy thinking about ava asking "and if i should fall for her?" for her to think too much about the actual prophecy at first. also the things sanja says about her being afraid and standing on cliffs edge and seeing a light in the dark would have her heart aching and she would very much have to fight the urge to suffocate ava in a hug.
as for the prophecy itself, she might be a little concerned about that "oncoming darkness" (before finding out about the supernatural she wouldve thought of fortune telling as a fun but mostly made up thing but now she'd believe bc with all the stuff that actually exists why shouldnt fortune telling be one of them?) though she wouldn't believe that it could "swallow them both" but that together they could take on whatever this darkness may be
8. if the detective and A’s first kiss is full of denial afterwards, how would your detective react?
oofff i always say something like this would be one of the most painful ways their route could go. like ava not being ready to admit her feelings yet is one thing, its ok if she needs time. but if she were to kiss her or confess her feelings and then take it back....OUCH like this would truly destroy liv's hope, she would also think of herself as such a fool for actually thinking that this might mean ava would finally have accepted her feelings. like again she can mostly forgive the back and forth that is currently going on bc obviously ava isnt ready and has been through some stuff, but playing with her feelings like that.... i think this might get liv to be like either you're honest about things or leave me be bc i cannot do this anymore. if she could actually manage to speak to ava. i think she would try to avoid her as best as she could for a good while + would not be able to look her in the eye without bursting into tears...
Prompt: secret kiss

Summary: Dilovan and Chani share a tranquil moment under the moon (here’s a link to their beautiful art 🥰)
Bright lights, warm laughs, and cheerful music. It was the kind of scene Dilovan enjoyed being in the most. His group of friends gathered near the pool, beer cans in hand and smiles on their faces, and Dilovan strolled happily towards them, head bagging at the music, fingers cracking absent-minded at the tempo.
The evening was surprisingly chilly even on that spring’s night and Dilovan hugged his denim jacket tightly, his long brown hair caressing his face with the wind, his friend laughed a bit louder when a few locks ended up inside his mouth.
Dilovan bumped shoulders with them as retaliation, their glass of alcohol dangerously close to spilling but they saved at the last second with their other hand.
“Be more careful, man.”
“You deserved it,” both of them laughed. The easy jokes continued for a bit until his eyes drifted off to the scene.
He started scanning the backyard discovering some familiar faces and others not so much. There’s one in particular he didn’t seem to find, though.
Chani, the one he was most excited to see tonight.
After his friend gave him an unhelpful shrug as to where her whereabouts were, Dilovan decided to look after her himself. She has promised she would be here and Chani has never lied to him, not once.
Not long after he found her on the terrace, – or actually the roof, there was hardly any distinction between the two – blond and pink messy braids dancing in the wind, a secret smile gracing her face. And Dilovan just stood there, admiring her profile, how the light of the crescent moon shone around her small frame.
Such a strange thing, seeing her alone at a party – being someone who enjoyed social gatherings as much as him – although Dilovan was almost grateful if only because he got to see her like this. Chani could create a place of her own whatever she went, her own little bubble as warm and comforting as a hearth in the cold winter, Dilovan hoped she’d allow him to accompany her.
He took a few steps forward but before he could clear his throat, Chani’s gray eyes were on him, a beaming smile blinding him. Werewolf hearing, of course.
“You came.”
“I didn’t find you downstairs. What, too many people?”
Chani laughed easily, shaking her head, “Music’s too loud. The smell of everybody too.”
“Ah, of course.”
The majority of the time enhanced senses had their benefits, but other times, for example, if you felt especially sensitive, they were more of a downside.
Chani looked up at him, craning her head, her hands resting on the floor while smirking.
“You know you can sit, right?
Dilovan blinked then laughed. He was distracted that night, too many thoughts, feelings swarming through his head.
He took a seat next to her, feet dangling over the edge, the breeze even chillier up there and Dilovan idly wondered if that was why goosebumps raised over his skin instead of Chani’s warm arm brushing over his. He was not a fool though and it was becoming more and more difficult to pretend his feelings for her were merely platonic.
Chani sighed, raising her hand to her face. “I didn’t even have time to paint my nails.” The chipped, pink nail polish partially decorated her nails greeted him, and his mouth spoke before he could even think about it.
“I have nail polish on my bag, you know? I did my nails when I arrived.”
Chani grinned, almost catlike. She looked at his fingers, then his face.
“You wouldn’t happen to have pink nail polish, would you?”
Dilovan chuckled, feeling a little self-conscious all of the sudden, a hand going to the back of his neck, cheeks heating up. “I do, actually, I brought one last week.”
He never liked pink that much, not for himself anyway, he favored other colors; the bright orange of a fruit, the deep blue of the ocean, the beautiful petal of an African violet. But pink, now he associated the color with Chani; with her shirts and her hoodies, and her beautiful soft hair, with salmon painted lips and the loveliest smile Dilovan has ever seen. And of course, her hands, small and soft despite the roughness of her calloused, guitar-playing fingers, nails always painted in a fun color and pink was one of them.
He has started liking the color and maybe that’s why he bought it, to think of her when he used it.
Chani beamed at him and he ended up going after his bag, both deciding to stay there, the place allowing them enough light for the task as well as the privacy they sought.
Her palm was small against his, his grip gentle around her hand, tempted to run a thumb across her skin, fair skin in contrast with his golden brown, black nails painting pink ones. He didn’t though, not sure their relationship was in that state yet.
Yet.
He wanted it to be, wanted to be able to caress her knuckles, to kiss her freckles and the tip of her nose, to hear her laughter near his ear on a sunny morning, to have her gray, bright eyes pinning him in place, unable to look away.
She was looking at him, he could feel her gaze, and when his eyes found hers, she immediately looked away, gaze concentrating on their jointed hands, faint red dusting her cheeks.
Chani chuckled and, unless Dilovan’s mind was deceiving him, it sounded a bit strained. “I thought you hated pink.”
“Hey, never said I hated it. It’s just not my color.”
“What made you change your mind then?”
It was obvious, wasn’t it? the quiet tone in Chani’s voice indicated that maybe she already knew the answer.
Dilovan shrugged trying to hide the nervousness in his voice. “Well… there’s this one little person who likes pink very much. It’s not her favorite color but she used it often enough to convince me it doesn’t look that bad.”
Chani laughed, cheeks brighter in the fluorescent light. “Glad to be of service.”
They made eye contact, and for a moment they stayed there without looking away sharing a secret smile, the moment intimate. And maybe Dilovan squeezed her hand and maybe she squeezed back just as softly.
The sudden cheers and louder music from downstairs broke their shared stare, the pair of eyes looking at the sound. Dilovan’s heartbeat running a mile a minute still, and he was praying to no one in particular that his hands didn’t start to shake.
“Looks like they’re having fun without us,” his laugh sounded strained and nervous but before he could kick himself for being so obvious Chani’s mellow voice banished his worries.
“Let them. I prefer to be here with you.”
That got him to look at her again. Reassurance and a soft smile were there as well as another question. “And you? You want to go downstairs?”
“No. No, I… I like being here with you. Love it, actually.”
She gave his hand another squeeze and Dilovan was sure Chani was going to be the death to him, his heart trying to escape his chest to meet her.
Carefully, Chani moved her hand in his, minding the freshly painted nails, and wrapped her fingers around his hand before bringing it to her lips. She pressed a soft kiss to his knuckle, warmth flowed from his cheeks to his ears, breath hitched in his throat.
“Thank you,” a whisper against his skin.
“For what?”
He whispered back, not sure if she could hear him.
“For being here tonight.”
‘I’ll always be with you if you’ll have me’ he wanted to answer but words failed him. Instead, he took her other hand and mirrored her movement, her skin cold in contrast with his lips.
No other words were needed. It’s just the two of them under the crescent moon and stars.
