Speedruns aren’t normally something that I share news about on this blog (and I hope it shows that despite me not reblogging fanart anymore I am still very committed to reporting notable happenings around the games), but I happened to check speedrun.com today, and not only is there a new world record speedrun for the remake that was made just today, but the guy who made it, Incep_Sean, also seems to be the only person able to beat the remake in under an hour of in-game time (which I think is subtracting the credits which aren’t skipped).

I’ve watched a little of the run and I can say that the methods he uses to save a lot of time with Valus and Quadratus are actually pretty funny.  So I thought it was worth sharing!
