Okay can someone help me with shadow of the colossus? I don't know if i should get platinum yet but i might want to so my question is, how.

Ive read into it and i'm confused because it also seems that the ps3 and ps4 version are different when it comes to new game +? (I have it on ps4 btw) So let's say i want to platinum it. I'm playing it on normal rn (first time so no spoilers please) and i've found some of those coins and i accidentally read that you better get all of those on hard mode because whatever you unlock there helps you more on hard.

So should i bother collecting them now on normal? And once i finish will i be able to take them with me to ng+ on hard mode? Is it even possible to start a ng+ on hard when you finished it on normal? Also, will i have to collect the coins, and time attack items, and then start hard mode? Will everything just go over?
