What is your favorite Taylor-related memory? Speak Now concert at Gillette Stadium! I had floor seats and Taylor ran into the crowd and performed Last Kiss right in front of us!

What is your favorite Taylor song? I don’t have a favorite song; every one of them is unique in its own way, but my all-time favorite is you belong with me

What is your favorite Taylor-related memory? I don’t really have much interesting taylor-related memories because as I said I somewhat recently became a big fan of hers

What are some of your non-Taylor related hobbies? Drawing, painting, reading (maybe?), collecting coins from different countries, discovering new artists

SOTD: All of Me - Tanlines

Alright. Found Tanlines on Spotify via related artists. I think it should be assumed that I find all my songs on Spotify unless otherwise stated because I literally found everything through Spotify.

So, this duo band apparantly formed back in 2008 in New York. They started out making remixes and performing alongside other small artists. They released their first EP in 2010 and followed with a compilation album containing all their released music so far and more. 'Mixed Emotions' was their first studio album, and that was released in March 2012. Tanlines has also performed with Vampire Weekend, The xx, Rick Ross, and more.

This song's pop, indie, and dance mix was actually caught my attention. It's not overly pop-ified or dance-ified but it has enough mixed with indie to create this really catchy tune. And the singing is soft and kind of in the background. It's different than other songs where the vocals sometimes overpower the instrumentals. I like how in this case, there seems to be more instrumentals than vocal. But it's still balanced and not too overpowering. This song also seems to feels softer than other songs I've listened to. I don't know how to explain this other than that it doesn't really call for all my attention. Like, it doesn't make me unable to multitask like some other pop songs. Egh. I don't know, but I really, really like Tanlines's style of music. Sometimes, songs with too little instrumental music is a little too dull for me.

Welp, time for me to listen to all their other songs cuz I have a feeling I'm going to love them all.
