. Wyvern Point - a powerful sea trading based kingdom which has religious tolerance of the Old Wyvern Point Gods, Wyverni Faiths ( which js inspired by Somali Christianity ) and Assalaam Faiths. It also is famous for its silk trade, and governed by various tribes. It is inspired by Ancient Somalia

. Basilik Point - One of the largest spice trade Kingdoms in Sothryosi Lands, has huge connections with Bassilik Islands. Basilik Point is inspired by Ancient Liberia

. Basilik Islands - Inspired by the Senegalese islands, the islands boast of sea trade, naval armies and tropical lifestyle

. Green Hells - Inspired by the jungle Realms of Western Africa, it is ruled by various tribal Realms who had built towns and cities amongst the depths of the Green Hells jungles

. Sothryosi Plains - Inspired by the Grasslands of Southern Africa, the Sothryosi Plains boast of rich agriculture and pastoral nomadic practices. In ASOMAM, Ramonda is borne a Princess of the Basuto ( inspired by Kingdom of Lesotho ) btw

. Sothryosi Dry Lands - Inspired by the Kalahari Desert, it is ruled by the desert tribes over there. A number of people of the Merchant Tribe of Wakanda are descended or immigrated from there

. Ngurumo - A nature connected culture which is also ran by an oligarch of priests and priestesses, with the Ngurumo royal court. It is inspired by Ancient Kenya

In ASOMAM, Ororo is Queen of Ngurumo, a Kenyan coded kingdom of Sothryos located around south of Wakanda

Ororo later becomes an ally of the X Council

Summer Isles

Summer Isles is located in an island between Westeros, Essos and Sothryos. May be loosely based on Cape Verde, Summer Isles has huge shipping ports and also has great seafood dishes. The denizens of the Summer Isles in general hold special connection with the seas

Yeen

May be loosely based on Nigeria, Yeen is one of the Sothryosi kingdoms in Northwest Sothryos with huge shipping trade. It also has beautiful fabrics and gemstones

Sothryos : An introduction

Loosely based on Sub Saharan Africa, Sothryos has as much of rich history as Westeros, Essos and Ulthos Islands ( which are loosely based on the Polynesian and Oceania Islands ). Sothryos is a land of rich spices, gold mines....and hunches of turmoil

Wyvern Point

May be loosely based on Ethiopia, Wyvern Point is a shipping harbor kingdom located at the Northwest of Sothryos. It is teeming with gold jewelry and rich spices

Basilik Point

May be loosely based on Ancient Mali, Basilik Point is one of the most powerful kingdoms of Sothryos. Teeming with jungles and mountains, Basilik Point is also known for its fierce wild cats

What do we Know about sothyros 's geography?

Apparently, it’s speculated to be as large as Westeros. It’s hot and humid, full of thick jungles. The fauna makes me think of central Africa, with their gorillas, but they’ve also got piranhas and which are exclusively South American, so it looks like a generic tropical rainforest biome. There’s also stranger fare, like basilisks, gigantic mega-apes even taller than a Gigantopithecuss, scythed lizards which sound like Utahraptor, giant anacondas which are a South American cryptid, and albino vampire super-bats. There’s two options. Either it’s a genuine Lost World type of place full of fantastic and exotic things with fantastic and exotic ways to murder you, or it’s one of those medieval manuscripts like the men with faces in the middle of their chests and everything is wildly exaggerated.

The diseases are real though, there’s no natural immunity to the horrible diseases of Sothoryos and medicine isn’t advanced enough to stop them, which prevents discovery and exploration. We’d need medical science to get a little more advanced, or for a native culture who can meet with explorers before we can start pegging down what is actually there, and start mapping it out.
