Some ASOIAF/ASOMAM houses and their cultural influences HCs ( and such )

The House Mormont clearly has several Scottish and Arctic influences, with their big coats and all that shit

The House Stark clearly has Scottish, Celtic and Pictish influences

For House Manderly, I think they are more on a mix of Scottish and Viking influences, what with seafaring and Guardians of the Northern Sea and all

For House Redwyne, I can see several French, Ancient Greek and Byzantine influences ( cuz Marseille was once also an Ancient Greek colony and then a Byzantine settlement )

House Hightower clearly has a mix of Dutch, Belgian and French influences

And the House Tyrell has strong ass French influences

For House Estermont, I think there are several German and Northern Italian influences in the mix

House Martell clearly has several Arabian and Desi ( particularly West Indian ) influences in the mic

House Uller seem to have a mix of Egyptian and Moroccan influences in spades

And House Dayne clearly has Persian influences

The House Targaryen often has a jumble of Ancient Roman, Ancient Greek, Etruscan, Phoenician, Carthaginian and Byzantine influences

House Velaryon often has Ancient Greek, Ancient Egyptian and Byzantine influences

House Barlaeris often has Ancient Greek, Slavic and Byzantine influences

And House Rogare often has Ancient Greco Roman, Phoenician and Southern Italian influences

House Macklyn seems to often have a mix of Eastern Italian, Ancient Greco Roman and Byzantine influences

The House Lannister often has Celtic and Southern English influences

House Baratheon seem to often have a jumble of German and Italian influences

House Arryn has a mix of Irish and Swiss influences

And House Tully has a mix of Welsh and Dutch influences

For the House Greyjoy, it's clear Norwegian influences are present, yet there are several other Scandinavian influences in there too

For the House Seaworth, I think there are several Danish influences in spades

For the House Chen of Leng Ma in Lenghi, I can see several Southern Chinese and Vietnamese influences

The House El Martill of Rhohynar clearly has a mix of Arabian Peninsula influences

I can see the House Al Amdullah of Haqodesh having mixes of various Levantine ( particularly Palestinian ) influences in spades

And then House El Faouly of Ghiscar having Ancient and Islamic Egyptian, and Byzantine influences in spades

For the House Drumm of Summer Isles ( aka the ruling house of Summer Isles since after the Dance of Dragons in ASOMAM ), I can see them having a myriad of Carribbean influences, with bits of Aztec, Mayan and Polynesian influences too

House Marko clearly having a jumble of Italian Renaissance, Byzantine and Ottoman influences

I can see House Storm of Myr having a mix of Florentine and Byzantine influences in spares

House Richards of Pentos having a mix of Ancient Grecian and Byzantine influences in spades

House Grey of Braavos ( aka the household Jeena is from ) having a mix of Venetian and Ancient Grecian influences in spades

And House Blackfyre clearly has a mix of Papal States, Byzantine and Ancient Greco Roman influences in spades

I can see House Maximov having a mix of Polish and Ukrainian influences in spades

House Nikolev having Slavic Russian influences in spades

And House Karinkov having several Cossack and Tartary influences in spades

Some ASOMAM Sigyn sketches

Sigyn as a Lady of Alfheim

Alfheimr clothing is often more light weight than Asgardian clothing, so I took inspos from Medieval French and Art Deco cuts to make this faint blush pink butterfly dress with gold accents, with pearls head to toe. I wanted to give off a feeling as a daughter of Luthien or Arwen, with bits of Queen Zelda in there too

Priestess of Asgard

So for this one I went with a more Bene Gesserit like style with a mix of some Norse and Celtic pagan fashions. I imagine the Priestesses of the Nine Realms in ASOMAM often dress in those Medieval Christian nuns and Norse/Celtic pagan priestess inspired headdresses and robes, so there is that.

Princess of Asgard

This one is a fun one. I mixed in Ancient Viking/Asgardian elements with Alfheim fashions in this. As Princess of Asgard and Lady of the Northern Seas after marrying Loki, she often dresses in those fancy Viking/Asgardian looks that regularly has Northern Sea elements, and ofc mixing her Valley Fae elements too

The halls of Thor and Loki in Asgard ( ASOMAM )

In ASOMAM, after the mess with the Battle against Malekith, Odin finally granted his sons their own halls. Thor has one in near the Southern Valleys of Asgard, and Loki has one near the Northern Seas of Northern Asgard

Thor's Hall

Thor decorated his hall with vibrant colors, beautiful Armory and tapestries of the friends he made along the way. He also has a large dining hall for his feasts and drinking gatherings, and also a large hunting ground

I designed it with more Viking Gryffindor like vibes btw, with mainly red and warm colors

Loki's Hall

Loki's Hall was more onto green and darker, cool colors. His Hall has his own library, a potions lab and a lovely garden filled with herbs and trees

When Sigyn moved in here since their bethrothal was set, Loki added faerie elements in her name and works hard to make her feel at home in their new home together. Sigyn also added some lovely colorful flowers in the Hall gardens btw

I designed it with more Viking Slytherin like vibes with also a dark soft academia core vibe

Loki and Sigyn's wedding in ASOMAM

Okay so I imagine Loki and Sigyn's wedding in ASOMAM to be in that winter and it was a few months after Thor and Jane got bethrothed

That wedding is in Loki's hall near the Northern seas, and a mix of Aesir and Light Fae elements

Everyone there in tow dressed to the nines. Loki in a black and green wedding armor, and Sigyn in a gorgeous white and pink Alfheim style wedding dress with a floral veil and such ( think like Padme's wedding gown with some Queen Zelda inspired elements in spades )

Odin and Frigga smiled as they watched Loki being happily Wed. Loki was smiling so much on his wedding, he almost had no idea what to say!

And the reception feast came along and everyone else was having a blast in the feast - singing and dancing and all.

Shireen also came along as a flower girl at the wedding and is so happy to attend a wedding of true love 🥺🥺🥺

She dreamed to have one of her own someday 🥺🥺

Btw in ASOMAM, Thor and Jane became bethrothed soon after Amora's defeat and thus Jane moved into his hall in Asgard

Thor and Jane first meeting in ASOMAM is in the Season 2 time frame in ASOMAM, so I think they got married in the end of Season 3

That wedding one for the books - it's in the Asgardian royal palace, the Seaworths and those Asgardian royals all in attendance, lots of singing and dancing, and Jane Seaworth becomes Crown Princess of Asgard 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🥺🤯🥺🤯

Thor be wearing a glamorous red and gold groom attire in that wedding, while Jane wears a gorgeous white wedding dress of Iron Islands and Asgardian styles ( basically think like Padme's wedding dress but more Viking fantasy elements )

Medusa and Crystal of the Lhazareen ( ASOMAM )

Queen Medusa of Lhazar

In ASOMAM, Medusa is Queen of Lhazar. Courteous, often seductive and alluring, Medusa comes from a mainly fire bending household in the South of Lhazar, and her marriage to King Black Bolt united many tribes of Lhazar. She and Black Bolt have a 3 year old son together by the time the Lhazar - Free Cities alliance is struck for the sake of defending themselves against Viktor Von Doom of Qarth. Black Bolt and Medusa found themselves having to face a more opening up of Lhazar to the world at such high stakes

I imagine Queen Medusa's ASOMAM wardrobe to be kinda like Ancient Tibetan/Northern Desi versions of her wardrobe in Marvel in spades - lots of purple and pearls with long auburn hair often in braids and such.

Princess Crystal of Lhazar

Princess Crystal is the energetic, diplomatic and free spirited younger sister of Queen Medusa. Skilled in diplomacy and astronomy, she has great elemental powers. When she turns 18, she found herself in a bethrothal with Pietro Blackfyre of the X Council in Free Cities. As she and Pietro have an allies to love love story, Crystal juggles between being a new member of the X Council and also being a diplomatic head of Lhazar

I imagine Princess Crystal's wardrobe to be kinda like an Ancient Tibetan/Northern Desi version of her wardrobe in Marvel in spades - lots of yellow and gold ornaments, with elemental patterns and such, and her copper red hair in thick curls and often in braids.

In ASOMAM, Medusa and Crystal's mother is borne a Princess of Qahl ( a Northern Great Moraqi kingdom which is an island near Faros, and inspired by Ancient Kashmir Kingdom ), which is a reason why Medusa and Crystal often dress in Tibetan and Northern Desi inspired elements

And yes, Tabu and Charithra Chandran are also my fancasts for Medusa and Crystal respectively in ASOMAM

Some Ms Marvel plotline in ASOMAM ideas

In ASOMAM, Kamala, Nakia Bahadir and several others went to school together in Sunspear before Kamala becomes a member of the Golden Cloak Squirehood in KL ( while also joining the KL Rebellion )

And Nakia Bahadir becomes a handmaid to Myrcella....for the time being

I can see in ASOMAM, Nakia Bahadir's dad is from Myr ( which I think is inspired by Ancient Istanbul ) and her mom is from Tyrosh ( which is inspired by Ancient Phoenicia )

And then Nakia Bahadir grew up in Dorne to silk trading parents

Kamala's big brother Aamir in ASOMAM eventually got married to Lady Tyesha ( Tyesha Hillman in ASOMAM ) , daughter of a spice trading family in Dorne. Tyesha's father is a wealthy merchant from a Somali coded kingdom near Wakanda, and Tyesha's mother is from Southern Dorne

So yeah I can see the Ms Marvel plotline in ASOMAM to mainly be around Dorne

Basically in ASOMAM,

I can see that the Khans regularly wear Pakistani and West Indian inspired fashion elements

The Bahadirs regularly wear Phoenician, Lebanese, and Ottoman Turkish inspired fashion elements

And the Hillmans regularly wear Somali and Al Andalus inspired fashion elements
