Only (checks clock) 12 hours late but here's day one of SOTM-tober, Welcome.

Ringmaster rat was a cut character from the welcome show ensemble, their job being completely replaced by Mrs. And Mr.Helpful. A good design decision...But I (big suprise) like rats and like the dapper little dude.

After a certain point, falling feels like flying.

The wind in your hair and against your clothes. Moonlight and stars above.

Getting further and further away.

It's a shame that lingering on the roof wasn't entirely an option. But at least there was the stars and the snow. That brief reprieve before the chase, and the fall that felt like flight.

It's not weird to have a favourite fall in a videogame, right? Well, the fall that ends the rooftop/office chase against Big Top is my favourite fall in Secret of the Mimic.

I wanted to draw it, and used a bunch of references to get it right, but this drawing is cursed in a way because this is the best photo that I could take of the finished drawing; my phone's camera refused to cooperate, and I got a massive headache whilst trying. But the physical end result is gorgeous, I hope the difference between that and the photo is just me being a perfectionist.
