P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).
Digimon AU where Toei actually lets the Chosen Children become adults but without having to separate from their Digimon for some dumb reason? (full shade to Toei)
Or, alternatively, literally any new content for a Digimon series that isn’t Adventure 01 (more shade at Toei)
Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?
I think after last November, Supernatural is everyone’s secondhand fandom.
But my actual answer: RWBY, Doctor Who, Final Fantasy XV, that one Chinese prettyboy drama, basically any Kamen Rider after Wizard

Best wishes in this new adventure
Thank you <3 I’m really excited because it has benefits ;u; I’ve never had those before!

Congrats! Also saw a post recently about free alternatives to the adobe suite, should I link you?
I have seen a few versions of that floating around, but absolutely send it my way anyways, each version seems to have one or two new programs that the other ones don’t! <3 Thank you!
On pillowfort. Same name as here. I’ve joined some...
How’s the interface, accessing functions, making posts and the like?
So I don’t have a ton of experience. I just got started. But! I can share what I’ve found so far.
At first, I had no idea what to do. This was the only post on my home feed
So I followed those steps. And was still a bit um....what now?
Then! While browsing the introductions, I found a link to a FollowFriday community. This helped me find some additional communities.
I found the community link in my sidebar. This listed all the stuff I was following. I clicked the second tab (browse) and used that to find additional communities to match my interests.
Things that took a while for me:
Clicking on my name in the upper right corner to view my own blog
Seeing who liked/reblogged a post (currently not intuitive at all. you have to click to comment and then click the like/reblog tabs)
I figure finding people to follow is going to take a while, but until then I can check out the people who are active in different communities and follow them.
There isn’t a lot of customization for personal pages yet, but I’m sure that’s just far down the to-do list compared to functionality tweaks.
It doesn’t have a way to see what you’ve liked yet, but it is going to be adding bookmarking soon.
Adding terms to a filter is super easy.
When you post there is a drop down. Right now you can post to public, followers only, mutuals only, or just self. I’m sure that’ll get more finegrained in the future. You can also set whether or not a post can be commented on or reblogged. The default is yes, but “no” is a quick button click.
Posts are easy to flag. There is a big button in the lower right corner of each post. If you click it, it asks you add a comment and submit.
Also, at the top of the sidebar for each user are buttons for reporting or blocking them.
All in all, while it does have a learning curve, the curve is small. The communities are still small and I haven’t found a super active one yet, but that’s probably partially due to the newness of the site. *shrugs* In my very limited experience with it, I like it.
sotto-belle replied to your post I’m going to Momocon as a sort of last minute...
Recooooord iiiiiiit
Oh you know I will! I’m already planning on what to say to him!
I also prepped and got myself a Shazam action figure (the one from Justice League: War) for him to sign. Tho they’re dong a ticket thing with the signing this year for the autographs, to avoid chaos, and I’m sure I’ll be in line for that sucker at like 7am, but still.
Sorry, there's no way to prevent the thing. The composition of letters in the word "moron" is ideal for minor dyslexic mistakes. Just make the obligatory Utah joke and let it go. =')
Hi! So I discovered you through a link from inspirationaljapanese, which does the same thing except with Japanese obviously. But inspirationaljapanese had a secondary blog that translated the literal meanings of the Japanese they used, for the curious. Does inspirationalmandarin have an equivalent?
Hello! No, we don’t. Sorry... Is there a big demand for this? We’re not really sure how much time we have to make one since it’s (surprisingly) hard enough to stay active on just this blog... 对不起
