you couldn’t depend on anyone / perhaps , a harsh reality you’ve known for far too long ( from birth / you were burden with knowledge a child should never be forced to come to understand ). no , you couldn’t depend on anyone with your work / you had to hold all these burdens , with just the palms of your own hands. lonely star / in this vast world ( so tired / of it all / but you burn brighter & brighter / you were always a star on fire ).
you are fueled with the dying wishes / from a distant world.
& yet / you smile , so softly ( your eyes of gold / like honey & amber / catching stars in such tired eyes / look straight through scourge’s own eyes ). you were just a strange hedgehog / to everyone around you. no one knew of what it is / that you are. they of no idea of your status / of the beast that stood before them. just as long / as you smiled ( for just a moment / you could forget about being / a deity of time ). in the next second / it all comes crashing down on you all over again.
you simply couldn’t depend on anyone / you don’t want to burden them.
