Happy Soukoku week! “ That’s what being a partner means, right?” A little thing about this: The Poem is “25 lives” by Tongari - and I decided not to draw for the entire poem because I don’t have the time (as you can tell I was rushing with the work, and decided to focus more on colors and feeling than...I guess lineart.) I also didn’t draw the entire poem because I felt like it was best to end with the forgiving part. The first image is Mafia!Dazai offering his hand to Chuuya and the last is Chuuya offering to take Dazai’s hand. Which Dazai it is isn’t important, but rather indicative of how he’ll always trust him no matter what.

Soukoku Week 2017

From June 26 to July 2, we've had a whole week to celebrate the platonic and romantic relationship between Bungou Stray Dogs’ Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya, also known as soukoku. Now it's time to give a shoutout to all the wonderful and creative people who contributed in sharing the soukoku love by submitting over 200 entries! Without all of you, this wouldn't have been possible. Thank you for providing everyone with soukoku content while remaining kind and respectful to fellow fans.

Also, as we have previously stated in the opening post, we will still be reblogging entries until a week after. That’s right, anyone who missed Soukoku Week and wants to catch up can do so within 7 days! And if you think we may have missed your post, please let us know by submitting a link to your work or by tagging us so we would have an easier time finding your post.

Once again, we mods would all like to thank everyone who had participated in Soukoku Week. Expect another post next week after we wrap everything up!

Day 6

Title: Wir waren wie Brüder

Summary:  After being taken in by Mori Ougai, leader of the most powerful criminal organisation in Japan, Dazai gets prepared for the position he shall take later. However, his resolution starts to crumble when he gets paired up with a boy his age who makes him question his path.
