Hello, me again, this is a follow up from my last question about adult beats and undyne

So Ive been thinking alot and I can only see one other alternative to the enlightenment being memorizing the song and living walking and breathing to it. I now think, thanks to what you said, that they dont predict their song, they control it, they decide and conduct their own song.

By achiving enlightenment I think they learned how to decide their own future by deciding their own song, by deciding it they dont need to remember as if they forget they'll change it up a bit to have it work.

This also explains AdultBeats's temperature control better since he is deciding what tempo his souls(since its stated his soul is the thing changing temperature, I imagibe the tempo being like vibration for a monster of sounds soul, lower tempo lower temperature and vice versa) song is playing at.

Guardian!Beats is actually going to be Muffet's successor. Muffet is the guardian of the Universe they're currently in all the while finding where they actually came from, their original world their home. Since all the Monsters of Sound doesn't actually belong in the multiverse of Undertale. So they are sort of alien, but due to their existence and settlement in the current world they're living in, Underbeats, it began to tie-in more closely with the other worlds within the Undertale Universe. Originally, the current world they're in was just a normal world, without the existence of monsters. They're that world that was connected to Undertale but the Monsters never existed, until the Flowers and the Fruits came in. So their species sort of took upon the role of Monsters.

Muffet became the guardian of this world due to her ability of foresight, it saved the world from possible casualties and also enabled Muffet to see further. Through Muffet and other members who are now sadly deceased, they were able to attain a bit more of their origin, some bits and pieces of history(This will be very important). They were also able to discover that the world they were currently living in wasn't their own. Their physical appearance are actually borrowed, so pretty much they mimicked how the originals looked like to a certain extent, enough so they can fill in the shadow roles. What Fox means by shadow roles is that they're filling in a similar role of another person. For example: Sans to Beats, Papyrus to Nico, Gaster to Maestro. By then they were sort of aware that there are people who looks like them from somewhere else. Though they would still be surprised if they did see each other though.

That being said, Muffet is the oldest living Flower among the others. Even older than the Royal family, she was one of the firsts seeds to drift into their current world. Though even with her powers, they still have extreme difficulty in tracking down their original world. It's like it's protected by a really thick barrier, but it still beckons to them, yearning for them to come home. That's why they don't stop in their search. It got postponed during the war with the humans, but then continued after they settled in the Underground.

So now let's look over why Beats being able to control their soul temperature is unusual, most plant life die in the extreme cold, and if a Monster of Sound is cold that's a bad sign. They're pretty much in critical condition at that point. Beats being able to willingly control their souls temperature into freezing is somewhat not supposed to happen. They only attained that through ascension or well as you call it enlightenment with the help of Muffet. They just really understood how their souls function. Fox isn't going to explain how, but their mask has a contribution to how Beats is able to do it. Emotions and how they Influence things are also a keyword.

The songs of their souls differ from each other since the songs are like DNA, if that makes any sense to you guys. So it's pretty unique to them. Fox did post how their souls looked like here before.

Fox made Maestro's soul as an example, also their soul core is not cracked, don't worry. It's like a raw uncut jewel. That's why it looks like that. That's the seed. Their kind came into existence due to an ancient song the World Tree has sung back in their original world. That's why the songs in their souls are so vital to them and why it's important. It connects them. If their songs are no longer sung by their souls, it's as if they have already died.

Their tempo magic is more intertwined with speed and time alteration. Specifically with timing, not going back and forward through time. It's a very assistive type of magic, and depending how one uses it, it can be used for offense. Monsters of Sounds were known to be able to control the weather, but it was more or less like they were influencing the climate or weather to change. That's not the same case with Beats, it's really not to the extent that Beats has, where their own soul temperature changes and it affects their surroundings instead. It's not like Grillby either, Grillby's exterior is hot, but not their soul. Their soul remains in a safe temperature like how it should be with their species, the jelly-like encasing makes sure that the soul is safe.

Souls

(Yes, I know it isn’t what a few of you were expecting. Live with it. That one’s in drafts and I can’t seem to get it done, so I’m doing other things for the purpose of doing things.)

Souls are the culmination of a sentient being’s life. Every living thing has a soul, but no two sentient beings will ever have completely identical souls. Some things, like trees, have very simple souls. Others, like animals, have more complex ones. Human souls in particular are fairly complex, having five main aspects: Shape, Core, Aura, Rune, and Mana. The souls of gods are believed to be even more complex, though no mortal has ever had a chance to find proof.

Each and every aspect of one’s soul affects them in some way, some being more prominent than others, though nobody truly knows what is affected by a soul’s aspect. In addition, while there are a set number of aspects to a human soul, it may be impossible to discover every possible combination of these, as the vast majority of humans are unaware of their own traits, let alone those of others. There are four known Shapes, six known Cores, a seemingly infinite number of Auras, as many Rune possibilities as the number of Runes in the Nailigab language, and ten known Mana ranks.

The four Shapes align with the four primary Elements of the world: Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. Water is typically a calm soul, with three steady tails, Earth is even more grounded, with only one tail. Fire is the most chaotic of the three, with no set form or tail count. Air is less intense, with two ever-shifting tails. Soul Shapes can be split into either Order or Chaos archetypes, with that archetype being a blanket descriptor of that soul’s expected path in life. Of course, this does not necessarily mean that path will be followed, so few people pay that aspect of a Shape any mind at all.

All Cores have a unique tint, and their shapes can be either Stable (S) or Unstable (U), appearing as either Solid (S), Faded (F), or Luminous (L). It is unknown what this affects of the person.

The different Auras all adhere to a soul’s Shape, but have fully unique appearances and colors. It is unknown what this affects of the person.

Every Rune in the Nailigab language, as previously stated, can be a soul’s Rune. This directly correlates with what Rune appears on a person affected by magic. Additionally, this is said to affect the person’s personality greatly.

Mana refers to a soul’s magical abilities, ranging from None to Immense, with the tenth rank, Infinite (O), being astronomically rare to see. The full order of ranks is None (N), Very Low (VL), Low (L), Below Average (BA), Medium (M), Above Average (AA), High (H), Very High (VH), Immense (I), Infinite (O). Depending on their Mana rank, human souls can survive with no host for any length of time between one week and several thousand years. 

A human’s soul is always very briefly visible at birth, with all but the Rune clearly visible to any that look, assuming they have the Arcane Vision trait. (More on that later.) After that point, a person must call their own soul forth for it to be seen, unless an onlooker has the power of the Rune of Soul, in which case they can always see other souls of their own kind (example, a human sees human souls).

It is possible, though incredibly difficult, to alter another soul with magic. This is highly taboo, however, and very rare as a result. Alterations to a soul will typically have a direct effect on the person within a day of the changes being made. The person can end up seeming completely different from their previous self with even a minor change, due to the nature of souls.
