I tend to write Astral and Yuma in a more brotherly way, since I see them more as brothers than anything else
The only time Ai has any jealousy towards Yuma is when he starts getting closer to Shark, since Ai feels like he's just being thrown aside by his only friend in favour of Yuma. This evolves into Ai getting possessed by number 24 (whole other story) and is also how he ends up falling for Astral, since Astral offered him a hand after their duel
Ai's a hopeless romantic so he immediately developed feelings as soon as he was offered help and couldn't seemingly sense any animosity/malicious intent
So no, Ai isn't jealous of Yuma and Astral's bond, he's happy that Astral has someone he can rely on like Yuma :D
"Come on, you have to duel me. I haven't had a duel in weeks!"

Ai is trying to convince Astral to duel him in the middle of another duel, but Astral is worried about Ai tearing his stitches and ending up back in the hospital so keeps refusing :3

We're gonna talk about his relationship with Alcoria first because the other stuff is long as fuck (feel free to add on :3)
So Ai keeps everyone but specific people at a distance, he doesn't like getting attached to people since he has abandonment issues. I feel like seeing her as a Barian would hurt, since he may have known her before, and he'd likely say something about it in the same way he says something to Shark and Rio, which could just add to his feelings of betrayal
It's long I'm going over everything I have this all planned out, be prepared for a yap session
Kinda suicidal ideation/suicide warning? It's Ai, of course I have to put that warning
So obviously, Ai doesn't know what happens at first like everyone else, but he finds out in a slightly different way to the others.
He only finds out about Shark because he got ambushed by Vector, since he deemed a dragon a threat and wanted him out the way (which honestly valid he did watch him strangle Envy with no second thought/remorse after all)
The last thing he remembers was he was about to find a way he can get to Astral because he believed he was alive, and then the next thing was he woke up on Barian World being restrained by Vector and being dragged (literally dragged by his hair) to that meeting they all have.
Ai doesn't realise it at first, he's only focused on trying to get out and to Astral, until he hears Nasch talk. Obviously he doesn't want to believe it at first because that can't be his friend right? He would never do that, he'd never betray them all, right? Then he hears Merag and it solidifies it for him, hearing them both wasn't a coincidence or hallucination.
The realisation causes him to stop his struggling and try to look towards the two of them, because he has to know for himself if he's mistaken or not, since he's still gonna have doubts, those are his best friends! Practically his siblings! Surely he's just imagining it? But once he sees them he practically freezes and the only thing visible on his face is a mix of dread, confusion and betrayal. He doesn't say anything for a long while, he just listens trying to rationalize it in his head and understand what the hell is going on.
Although eventually he does bring himself to say something which is along the lines of "what the hell do you think you're doing? They're manipulating you, they're brainwashing you, how could you?" Stuff like that. Obviously he's feeling really strong emotions and most of the Barians Mizael are aware of what extreme emotions/stress/pain can trigger in beings from Ashteri (workshop name for the world Ai's family comes from instead of just "world of dragons) so they're careful to make sure he's still restrained in case something happens, especially since he's already showing huge signs of aggression.
I wanted to take the fact that Nasch and Merag feel seemingly conflicted about what they're doing and add it in here, with Nasch asking Ai to help them, because of what Eliphas had done to the dragons (locked up their guardian and caused the world to fall into chaos, which is the reason Ai was born on Earth and has never visited his world)
Ai doesn't even consider this, immediately rejecting and claiming he'd "rather die than betray the people he swore to protect", since if Barian World was successful in destroying Astral World, Ashteri would suffer too, meaning his family would suffer. His claim is also rooted in his feelings for Astral and how he took an oath to protect him, obviously.
He then tries to go for Nasch (still restrained) yelling about how the twins are "dead to him just like Elijah" (Envy), but as soon as he even attempts to get to his feet he gets hit by both Vector and Mizael, the force of both blows and his head hitting the ground causing him to fall unconscious.
He's like this for a while, just on the ground while the Emperor's talk, not restraining him as much as before because, y'know...he's not conscious so there's no need to right?
That results in Vector getting set on fire :3
Ok so what happened was Ai woke up but in the "feral" state, because of everything he was feeling combined with the pain causing his brain to overwhelm and trigger that state. He gets up, tares apart his arms with his nails and covers Vector in his blood, lighting it on fire since his blood is flammable and Vector was the closest to him. Although he doesn't go for Nasch or Merag, still recognising them as friends, so he just escapes. He doesn't even know where he's going, he doesn't really know anything in this state other than "survive at any cost". Even when he's lucid he doesn't care about his arms, it's Ai, of course he doesn't.
He ends up on Astral World in the middle of Yuma vs Eliphas, but from everything that happened he kinda just collapses? Just laying there in the sand, bleeding and exhausted since he'd never been in that state before, it's mentally/physically draining and painful.
I won't get into the rest of that we're gonna skip to when they all get to Barian World
Ai had had some time to think after this, he wants to help Nasch and Merag, he really does, they're the only people who stuck with him despite everything he went through and is, and still wanted to be around him even like this. But he can't betray Astral like that, he loves him.
He's feeling conflicted about it and obviously very upset, he doesn't know how to react, he doesn't even want to react. He just wants to die, especially when he finds out about Merag's death. Gi was already gone at this point, she confronted the twins and lost to Nasch, so his lifeline was gone (let me know if you want to talk about that too).
He just wants to end it all, feeling it more intense than usual. He fully intended to kill himself after all this was over, no matter who won, since he'd lost everything he cared about besides Astral.
It's one of the reasons he does what he does before they duel Don Thousand, willing sacrificing himself even if it doesn't help much. He didn't even have to think about it, he knew he would be useless in a duel, so he tries to inflict the same damage he had to Vector to Don K, even though he knew he would die in the process. He mostly does this for Astral, but theres some intent for Shark there too. (this why I put the suicide warning)
Obviously he's gonna get brought back by the Numeron Code I can't kill him and then not have him come back with everyone else. I can't ship him with Astral and keep him dead come on who do you think I am? I have a much later death planned for him in the future AU >:)
