As usual the discussion was both powerful and inspiring. We explored the fundamentals of the cosmological and spiritual philosophies and practices from the African continent to understand how they can be grouped under the umbrella African Spirituality. ~ We discussed how and why these valuable and powerful ancient spiritual systems, arguably the foundation of all spiritual systems, have been pushed underground, vilified and dismissed as superstition whilst being repackaged and presented as new through 'new age' spirituality. Also how these spiritual systems are so powerful and entrenched in all aspects of African life that they have survived European colonisation and intercontinental slave trade. ~ As customary to the show we explored how we ourselves can benefit from the practices.
