There's this AD I keep getting on Instagram about a "birth control app" where someone only needs to long in their temperature everyday to find whether or not they're fertile.

Not only is this not a contraceptive, since all they're telling you is to avoid having sex on certain days, they're advertising this as an extremely accurate form of birth control., which is just not true. Also, everyone in the comments complementing this method are all anti abortion so very very sketchy. The company also said that its users has to pay a subscription fee every month so they don't sell your data to the government.

How did they even get away with this??

Full Moon Blessings, witchy ones!

Many of us are still feeling in recovery mode from the big shift that was this Eclipse Season + Mercury Retrograde winding down. It's now gone direct again, but we're still in the post-shadow phase so there's still shit getting worked out but we're mostly out of the woods here. With this Full Moon in Pisces, it's all coming full circle. The hard lessons we've been facing, the big blow-ups... it's all coming down on us yet at the same time we're starting to finally see the forest for the trees. And we're starting to see how our hard work & positive contributions will be coming back to us multiplied as well... at some point.

Pisces is a sign of deep feelings + emotions & depending on your own chart you may feel very comfortable in these waters or downright overwhelmed. As part of working through my ideas for the project 'Temporary' I am working with items from nature such as flowers and their continual impermanence as they go through various natural cycles.

First we made objects from a soft play -do material.

This was scanned into a computer software and then it was sent to the 3D printer.

The cicadas are out, everywhere -- and I mean everywhere. Dr. Wes here, I know some people think these weirdly colorful locust-like critters are creepy-looking, but as a musician often inspired by nature, gotta admit there's something uniquely fascinating and haunting about the sound that the cicadas make when they finally emerge and take over the forests every 17 years. Natural rhythms often have their own music to them, and there's a certain beauty to the sound that these intriguing creatures make in their curious mating rituals. Besides, you gotta feel some pangs of sympathy for the poor little guys.
