Once again the circle had one of those useless gatherings now, since everything seem to breeze over and making a one eighty transition there was really not much up for discussion or any thing in significance, other than the guy Melissa is wooed about in their English class. Diana made herself clear when she said every meeting was mandatory but Cassie couldn't help but to think otherwise, not wanting to collide with her authority. She kept quiet, nodded her head when her so called opinion was pleaded for, and agreed with whatever there was. She could care less, really, but being disrespectful to her friends for a lousy reason was unacceptable.
Once the group has parted, some members going out for a drink and some having homework, Cassie politely excused herself to go upstairs in the duration of everyone's departure. Assuming there was no one left to be found downstairs. She gathered her things, such as her coat, scarf, schoolbag and car keys in preparation of going home and possibly staying up watching shows on netflix. She traced her hand on the railing when she made her way downstairs; startled as she reached the bottom and took a moment of pause. There was Adam, left behind with the stupid black skull her father convinced everyone it would be a wonderful idea to charm the pieces together for their 'benefits. Little did they all know John's true agenda.
She dropped her bag gently where she were standing and sat herself directly across Adam, who was all too focused on the object to even acknowledge her. "How long are you still gonna work on that? I mean.. really Adam. You work day and night on this thing and I really don't know what is going to come from it. Nothing good, probably but you should take a break." She pointed at the crystal cranium repeatedly. "This right here? Is unhealthy... and a bit creepy."
