"Are you sure you're strong enough for the task?"
“Do you doubt my words...? I’m more than capable of the task at hands. This isn’t my first time out in the field, Kid. I just want to know why you came to me..”

"Are you sure you're strong enough for the task?"
“Do you doubt my words...? I’m more than capable of the task at hands. This isn’t my first time out in the field, Kid. I just want to know why you came to me..”
“You’re filled with determination.”
Her brows furrowed as she peered at the odd child who had interrupted her during her training. During the rare snowy days that Konoha experienced during the winter, it was common for the ex-snow nin to make her way out into the woods that surround the village in order to practice her ninjutsu. It was here, in a silent snowy clearing, that a pale white haired girl had caught the woman off guard.
There was something off about Kanna, the way she stood, her facial expressions, even the way that she spoke made the young woman feel uneasy. It was as if she were being spoken to by a ghost. She was inclined to believe that this was the case, especially since it seemed like the child had appeared from the snowy fog that distorted the way back home.
After what felt like an eternity of watching the small figure for any sudden movements, Emiri took in a breath, straightening her back as she looked back at the girl, trying to gauge whether it would be best to run away, or speak to this unsettling child.
“Determination is something of a requirement for this line of work.” She spoke, offering Kanna a grin as an attempt to come across as confident, sure of herself in a situation that was anything but normal. “... You lost, little one? We’re quite a ways away from the village.”
