Inspiration was a fleeting thing, even for a genius such as Gyro. As much as he didn’t like to admit it, coming up with new ideas for his next innovative creation didn’t always come as easily as he would hope. Whenever he was inspired, the ideas flowed like a fountain from his mind. Unfortunately, it was now dry as a desert. The lack of drive to create and plan was certainly a hindrance, especially if the buzzards decided to do another check-in on him.
Having no drive to work on any of his own projects bothered the inventor. His worth came from what he was capable of creating. He needed a distraction. Checking his task list on his phone, he searched desperately for something he could do. One task listed caught his eye:: check on the intern’s project(s) and report. That had been a condition Scrooge had given the scientist when Gyro had asked about having interns when he first was hired. Admittedly, he had gotten so caught up in his own personal projects that he had ignored that task,
Grabbing an empty notebook and a pencil, he headed over to the duck’s work space. “Fenton,” he said, announcing his presence. “I need to write up a report on how your personal projects are progressing. Take me through them.”

Whenever there wasn’t pressing business for the tiger to deal with, he found solace in tending to his plants. Humming as he delicately cared for each individual plant of his, peace overtook him. It was rare that the businessman allowed himself the chance to breathe and enjoy himself, and his plants were his main respite from the hustle and bustle that came with running his company. His moment was cut short, however, when the doors of his office opened, and in entered a familiar face.
“Ah, it’s about time one of you dropped by. Tell me, how are things on your end? I hope things are favorable.”
“Mr. Duckworth, am I right?” Even though this was her second visit up to McDuck Manor, she was still blown away that he had a ghost for a butler. A ghost. Hopefully, she wasn’t too stiff, even though he seemed self-aware to her.

Something awfully strange was happening at Scrooge McDuck’s The Money Bin.
Out of nowhere, in spite of S.H.U.S.H keeping tabs on the McDuck clan, somewhere in-between the duck’s visit to St. Canard and the fallout with Taurus Bulba after the Ramrod accident, three successful and long employed employees were suddenly let go. Sure if one employee had suddenly lost their job because of inconvenience or slackness in their work flow S.H.U.S.H wouldn’t bat an eye at the paperwork. The employees in question that were mysteriously discharged were none other than Scrooge’s Board of Directors, the three “Buzzard Brothers”, a nickname given to the trio due to their nearly matching aesthetics. S.H.U.S.H themselves had trusted Bradford Buzzard personally to be hired under Scrooge and suddenly with no warning or notice the vulture was fired? No amount of newspaper article, internet blog entry or rumor within The Money Bin employees could satisfy the public facts of the scenario.
This lead to S.H.U.S.H sending in the only field agent stationed within Duckburg, Olivia Winter, who obediently followed orders the second the message was obtained. The tricky part getting Brandon Buzzard to talk. It wouldn’t be easy and Agent 19 had to figure out a certain technique how to get the vulture to explain why he was fired. The first ex-director on the list to investigate, the agent starts the conversation with half the truth in paw, tapping the side of her clipboard as she hums, the vulture across the table in front of her.
“Mr. Buzzard, may I start off by sayin’ yer entire resume an’ work history is nothin’ but impressive.” The charts, the perfect attendance, and the impeccable organization to keep a functional company is why S.H.U.S.H was so perplexed on the bird’s discharge. Had Scrooge McDuck lost his marbles literally? “Which is why I hafta ask in concern with my own employer as genuinely as possible: why were you let go from yer previous employment with Scrooge McDuck?”

[ For Gyro and Fenton, I can definitely see this dynamic working, especially since I feel like Gyro’s feelings towards Fenton can become more positive now that they have a better understanding on how to work with each other with Gizmoduck being more established. Definitely would take awhile for that buildup for Gyro at least because he has so many walls up that need to be broken down, but it’s definitely possible. ]

[ Panchito would absolutely dote on the boys as if they were his own nephews. Dewey especially since he shared that same desire for attention and drama that Panchito has. Dewey wants to learn a new instrument or language? Tio Panchito is the first in line to help teach him! The younger needs to talk about something that maybe he can’t talk to his mom or Uncle Donald because of one reason or another? There’s Panchito with an unbiased ear ready to listen! He will be very supportive of Dewey and help him as much as he can. ]
