Hi, I’m Lua
Welcome to my blog. This evening I felt compelled to start writing about the recent changes in my life. Maybe someone reads it and feels a little less alone in life.
I know this is not going to be for everyone, let me just start off with that. My intention with this blog is positivity and creative expression regarding topics of all sorts, namely spirituality as I've awakened to this part of my self in recent months.
I’ve come to start listening to my intuition and the universe through love, patience & trust. I’m awakening you could say, and make no mistake that is BIG talk for the person I was not even six months ago.
As I said, tonight I’ve felt compelled to start this blog, mainly with the hopes to help others going through similar experiences, but also to have the comfort of anonymity in sharing my experiences.
I called the blog “Lua lives” as a marker for the chapter that is beginning in this moment. Yes, it’s the beginning of my blog. But it is also the night I remembered the name that belongs to my soul. Lua.
I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences with you, and I hope you decide to stick around a while, relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea.
speak soon,
Love Lua xx
The Sword, the Spear and the Arrow - Elfquest
by Wendy and Richard Pini
Nightfall and Redlance are one of the couples from Elfquest I like most. Especially because their relationship is a lot different compared to most relationships in Elfquest and even compared to relationships in other books and comics. It usually is the man who is the fighter and soldier while the woman is the caretaker and lifegiver. Even if the relationship is portrayed equal and neither of them is forced in that role.
With these two it's the other way around. Nightfall is the warrior, the sword, the spear and the arrow, while Redlance is the caretaker, the flower, the tree and the vine. It's who they are.
It's refreshing to read. I wish I could read more relationships like this.
