these are my after pics.... we love our van.........its very comfy and the critters are great travelers......
the only “during “ pics i have from my build.
So as a lot of you know, this dream to travel around the country actually began decades ago when I spent a year travelling cross country car/tent camping.... we didn't have a lot of rainy nights during the entire year, but when we did we dreamed of being in a van on those nights, dry and toasty warm.... and I have always said I was going to do it again before I got to old to do it.... and I'm feeling old some days so..a van it is......my children are grown and on their own, and its time...I thought my first before and after pics would look a little different than this. I imagined them being my van gutted out, the rebuild, and then the beautiful after pics..... however, things don't always turn out the way we think they will lol....the pics of the gutted out van and the rebuild burnt on my laptop ( along with most everything else I owned at the time). that was in july of this year.....i did have a few that I took with my phone instead of my camera, so these are before the fire, during the fire, and after the fire... thankfully, as most of you know, my animals were in jins house and not with me when the fire started, thank the gods for that:) underneath the bed in the rear there was an AC unit of some sort, and that's what shorted out and started the fire, and by the time the volunteer fire department got there, the whole thing was gone.... but the universe provided, some things from people I still haven't even met......I need for nothing, and I was able to hit the road on the exact same date that I had originally picked:) new van pics to follow:)
