and this is why i’m whisking myself across the globe to do something i’ve never done before. this opportunity will change me forever, i’m certain of that. this will also be my first long-term solo adventure.
at first, this was kind of hard to visualize that i was actually pursuing this, but a lot of hard work, prayer, and determination has gotten me this far. the vision is becoming clearer and clearer, the more i achieve and the closer i get to december, when this volunteer opportunity begins. i need only to fund it and get out there

this is an unpaid experience on an organic fruit and agroforestry farm. i’ll be learning how to implement sustainable methods into growing and harvesting fruit on the side of a volcano in maui. what’s more, i will be able to take the skills i learn and share them with the local community, getting people of all ages involved and educated about self-sufficiency, implementation of cultural methods of farming, and preserving and respecting the old way. help me fight inorganic monocultures, monsanto, and loss of connectivity to indigenous culture by funding my journey in maui at the haiku aina permaculture initiative. a link to my gofundme is in my bio.

Last weekend was the March for Science nationwide, this weekend is the People's Climate March (which is also nationwide). We're headed to D.C. for the main march, with an estimated 12,000 attendees, but most cities across the nation will be marching as well. Climate change is real. Global warming is real. We as a human race have been, by and large, incredibly irresponsible with the way we've treated the earth.
