ok so iliana is someone who is very……….. in her head a lot like you’ll always catch this girl day dreaming away okay
probably prefers her made up imaginary world over anything else
im sure that ppl have gotten frustrated bc of it like she’ll barely know whats going on in reality bc she doesn’t pay as much attention sometimes
but with her imagination and daydreaming iliana was always making up stories to tell!!! and she’d tell them to anyone who would listen to her! and show them her pictures that she’d make with her little worlds.
thus wanting to become a writer/graphic novelist
shes v much into art and v creative ok
she grew up with just her mom and they’re very very close and her mom was always someone who basically was EVERYONES mom in the neighborhood. like they didn’t have much, like a very tiny house and always trying to find money, but if someone needed a couch to sleep on or a meal to eat, she was always willing to help??? (mom is the woman with the most golden soul, iliana insisted.)
no dad lmao but she’s always ignored that. one thing she never questioned in her life.
iliana was always taught not to be so afraid of feelings??? so like she’s very much okay with crying in front of people LOL or being angry and telling people why and what they did was wrong
also sometimes she’s very much like willing to be friends with anyone?? like talk to her once and she’s like an instant friend!!
can be a little touchy sometimes??/ like hand holding and kissing friends on the cheek is a thing but honest 2 god don’t be afraid to tell her no if its not your thing. she’d want to know if anything makes you uncomfortable. but it comes with the whole friend thing she just wants everyone to know she loves them!!
iliana is someone who loves to live in the moment. its probably gotten her into a little bit of trouble, but nothing too serious.
she dropped out of college after her first year because honestly, she realized how miserable she was. instead she decided to go backpacking across europe as it’s been one of her life long dreams to fulfill.
being as unpredictable and herself as possible, she got engaged while backpacking and almost eloped (basically being left at the alter ) now this person was probably what darkened her soul. they were a little(a lot)….. toxic. to everyone and themselves. surprisingly, it wasn’t far enough to blacken her own soul to mirror theirs.
iliana fell hard pretty fast. all she wanted was to help them but also she was very much intrigued by them and how they were??? like she is someone that can be easily swayed into doing something and in the end, she found herself doing things she’d never thought she would because of them. (i.e. robbery, using/selling drugs, etc., she witnessed many times where they’ve hurt someone bad and she did nothing abt it and tbh honestly she couldn’t bc she was scared of them??) honestly she didn’t realize until it was too late that she was easily manipulated by this person
she had to learn the hard way that ‘you can’t fix someone that doesn’t want any help’ as cliche as that sounds. (trust me even she rolls her eyes a little bit over it)
now after about two years, she just got back from her trip, but instead of going home to her mom (which is very strange, but her mom is accepting of it), she went to seattle. she was ashamed by how invested she became with someone so much and how it changed her as a person (something that she’s having a very hard time to admit) and honestly living in a new place, it allowed her wear her new color with a different spark in her step.
the past is behind her now, she’d moved on. but with a new colored soul, she has found herself being pulled into other situations she hasn’t ever considered before. like surely she can’t go too far at this point.... but who knos ... .dun dunnnn DUN.
as for plots?? i’m the worst at plotting but honestly we can maybe make up a barebone connection and go from there and see what chemistry does?? suggestions umm maybe

a fling/fwb (idk she’s been there 2 months so maybe not but who knos u know (any gender!!)
