This takes place after their reunion in Bristol.
Sean squints as he wakes up, they'd forgotten to draw the curtains in their need to be close the night before, now the harsh September morning was flooding her bedroom.
Sean turns over in the bed, Cassie still fast asleep, lips parted as she snores softly, one leg over his, covers thrown off, hand resting on his chest, curls messed up in every direction and yet she still looks so beautiful.
His phone vibrating, pulls him from his thoughts. Cassie stirs with a yawn “Morning” she mutters, she pressed a kiss to his cheek before she snuggles back down.
“Was that your phone?” She mumbles, eyes still closed “yeah,” he hums head fingers running through her hair.
Sean opens one eye to look at her “They can wait, I'm sleeping next to my girl for the first time in months” he sighs, she laughs lightly pulling the covers up, pressing herself tighter in his side allowing herself to fall back to sleep.

One Shot ; Siblings In London.
This is just a little one shot which I actually wrote mainly for Alex @cillmequick 🤭 Basically what it says on the tin - the Henderson/Peters siblings are together in the big smoke. The only warnings I have for this is hints but not fully descriptive smut & language.
A couple of things to note. Cassie is my creation, Birdie belongs to Alex in her own story linked below 'Bluebells'.
Myself & Alex have come to the agreement that the wonderful Anthony Boyle is the siblings brother Ash's FC 🤭 Mentions of a man called Josh in our collective brain this is Daryl McCormack
You do not need to be caught up on either series for this to make sense to you, but if you want to read them I have linked them below ❤️.
Header & Divider by @cillmequick she's all kinds of wonderful!
The edit of the twins & Ash at the end is by me.

One Shot - Siblings In London.
Cassie opens the door with a massive grin on her face, her siblings were actually stood outside her door in London.
She practically squealed as Birdie embraced her, she ushered them through. "Sean's on his way home, he got caught up with a meeting"
She breezes into the kitchen, placing the bottle of wine into the large fridge. "This way" she gestures back into the lounge.
"Bird I'm worried our sister has gone…posh" Ash chuckles.
"Oh definitely, I'm not sure we should even be in her presence after our long drive from the ass end of no where" Birdie laughs along.
Cassie turns round "if you two don't shut up I will make you share one room"
They both stop laughing, Ash grabs Cassie into a sort of headlock. She's grunting pushing him away as Birdie looks on in amusement
"You wouldn't dare" he laughs, rubbing his knuckles into her scalp.
"Ash!" She screeches he finally lets her go.
"I don't care as long as I'm far enough away from your bedroom so I don't have to hear you fucking Sean" Birdie cackles, as Ash groans.
"Bonnie I'm begging you please give me the one furthest away"
"Not after that you twat" she shoves him.
"Anyway, there's an office and bathroom between the guest rooms and our room"
She rolls her eyes, making her way down the hall, pointing them in the direction of the guest rooms letting them fight out who got the one with an en-suite.
•
"I've got a few friends coming for the evening as well, I hope that's ok?" Sean asks passing the box of Thai food across to Ash.
"Yeah man, the more the merrier. Right girls?" He smirks at his sisters.
Turns back to Sean "any of them girls?"
"You're not hooking up with anyone while staying under my roof" Cassie laughs.
"Oh it's yours is it?" Sean teases nudging her with his elbow.
She leans in to kiss his cheek, lips sticky with sauce. "Not at the table please" Birdie groans.
"Where are we going anyway?" Cassie asks, she'd left planning up to Ash and Sean. Ash determined to have a proper London night out.
"Soho then we can move on if we want" Sean steals a forkful of food from her plate.
"Where did you two meet?" Birdie asks, filling her glass with more wine.
She looks content, relaxed. Sitting by the open balcony doors, the cool breeze and sounds of the wharf filling the room.
"Mayfair" Sean takes the bottle from Birdie.
"Cass why were you in Mayfair? Trying to pick up a rich guy?"
"No, he was just a lucky bonus. Sash had friends in high places" she shrugs "who were also very high all the time"
"And why were you there Sean?" Ash asks, mouth half full of food.
Cassie frowns at him "Ashley Peters we weren't fucking raised in a barn don't talk with your mouth full"
He rolls his eyes, sticking his tongue out at her the remnants of food on his tongue.
"I swear to god As-"
"Anyway why were you in Mayfair that night, Sean?" Birdie interupts.
He laughs, "My brother is one of the people Sash knows. I was keeping an eye on him. He's not so much in the high places he's just high all the time"
"Really kept an eye on him if you left with my sister" Ash jokes.
Cassie throws him another look opens her mouth to speak.
"Both of you need to shut up" Birdie groans.
•
"Oh come on Bird, live a little your going out in London. When was the last time you had a proper night out?" Cassie is holding up a cap sleeved short black dress.
Birdie sits on the end of the bed wrapped in a fluffy white towel, "Cass I'll look so fucking ridiculous in that dress"
Cassie sighs "You won't, because we're fucking identical and I look hot in it"
"We're not identical anymore Bon" Birdie sighs.
"Birdie we will always be identical, so put the fucking dress on and stop pouting"
Birdie huffs, getting up from the bed "Fine, but if I think it's too short I'm finding something else"
Cassie waves her moaning away "If Sean's invited his friend Josh, you should definitely pay attention to him"
Birdies head snaps round "Are you trying to set me up with one of Sean's friends?"
"Oh sorry too young for you?"
"Fuck off Bonnie.. I just don't want to be set up with anyone right now" she shrugs, rummaging in her toiletry bag.
"Bird, you don't have to stay away from men forever. What happened with Steve was awful but give yourself a break for once"
"A break what does that even mean?" She crosses the room so she can look through Cassie's makeup bag.
"You know just have some fun, you're always so uptight"
"Bonnie I am no-"
"You are, now what are you looking for?"
"A lip liner or something I don't know I haven't glammed up in a while"
Cassie snorts out a laugh "glammed up? Sorry is Nellie Jennings in the room with us"
Birdie rolls her eyes taking the lip liner from Cassie "you could go get ready in your own room, you know"
"Yeah I could but Sean is harder to wind up" she grabs her body lotion, foot propped in the edge of the bed rubbing it into her legs.
"Jesus fucking Christ Bonnie, is it even worth putting on underwear that tiny" Birdie groans as she comes back out of the bathroom confronted with her sisters ass on full display.
Cassie throws her a look over her shoulder "Sean likes it"
"I bet he fucking does" she scoffs "surprised he can even find it to take it off"
"Who said he takes it off"
Birdie glares at her, Cassie can't help it she has a desperate need to tease her twin.
"Did Steve enjoy a more modest set?" She cackles standing up straight.
"No but I bloody do"
"Ok I'm seriously worried that Gran is in the room with us" Cassie bumps her hip against birdies "you need a few drinks and a good snog"
•
"Is Josh coming?" Cassie asks Sean when their in the kitchen sorting drinks for the small group that was now in their lounge.
Sean grabs her round the waist "Why? Fancy someone new?"
Cassie shakes her head "No you're all I need. I just thought Birdie could do with a distraction"
"He's coming, and I can put in a good word for our Birdie" he smirks.
"She thinks she doesn't want it, but she just needs to lighten up"
"Who needs to lighten up?" Ash joins them in the kitchen, empty glass in his hand.
"Birdie"
Sean grabs the whiskey from the side, pouring it into his glass "I'm not sure we have enough time to get her to lighten up in one evening Bon"
Cassie grins at Ash, Sean shakes his head "you two are awful to her"
"She brings it on herself" Cassie takes the bottles of wine through to the lounge.
Ash shrugs "she's always been like it, she makes it so easy"
Sean laughs, heading for the lounge "Sean.."
"Yeah?" He turns back to Ash. "Has Cass been okay? You know since she's been back?"
Sean places his glass on the kitchen side "Yeah…well..she's had her moments but she's been fine"
Ash nods "I just…I worry about her. I know I'm the baby of the family but she's my sister. I get to keep an eye on Birdie but Cass being down here I don't get to check in as much"
"I'm the youngest as well and I think I do all the worrying so I understand"
Ash smiles, refilling his glass once again "you'd tell me though? If she got bad again?"
Sean nods "Of course..but I can honestly say how you see her right now is how she's been since we came back give or take a couple of occasions"
Ash watches Cassie laughing in the lounge, her arm around Birdies waist as they chat to a couple of Sean's friends. "They didn't have much time with their dad and my dad is a cunt to them so I always feel like they're my responsibility"
Sean looks across at the twins "a lot of responsibility there, mate" he laughs.
Ash shakes his head, "Well you've took one off my hands so thank you"
Sean laughs, "She's the best thing that's ever happened to me"
"Jesus Christ no more alcohol for Sean he's soppy" Ash calls as they join everyone in the lounge.
Cassie uncurls from Birdie, making her way across to Sean. He wraps his arms around her, she bends her head back with a grin "What you being soppy about?"
He leans to kiss her "you"
"Ah he's alright this is normal for him" Adam laughs clapping him on the back as he makes his way back to his partner sitting at the dining table.
•
The whole group piles out of two taxis in Soho, all in high spirits. Cassie has her hand linked with Birdies as they navigate the uneven pavements in their heels.
"You look gorgeous, Bird" she whispers as they wait to be let into the club, Sean up front talking to the guy on the door and seconds later the rope is lifted.
"Thanks Cass, this dress wasn't so bad"
"See I told you. You should always trust Bonnie Girl" she giggles.
The group are filtering up to the booth area, Sean has organised drinks for the two tables already. Cassie can't help the swell of pride in her chest he's her guy.
"You needed this" Cassie shouts over the music, they're on the dance floor four songs deep and no intention of stopping.
Birdie nods, she did. She can't remember the last time she felt this free and happy. Maybe the night out with Cee near Christmas before things with Steve got hard and messy.
Maybe she should entertain the thought of one night with someone else, just to prove to herself that she can do it again, the old Birdie wouldn't have even thought twice about a one night stand.
Cassie wraps her arms around her neck, pulling her out of her head.
"I love you Birdie Henderson" she giggles voice tickling right into her ear drum
"I love you too" she grins rubbing at her ear.
"It's our song!" They both shout in unison, as Gabrielle's 'Dreams' fills the dance floor, they're clutching each other singing at the top of their lungs.
Ash joins them from another section of the club, arms slung around them as they all screech the lyrics.
It hits Cassie as the song finishes and they move apart for a breath, this feeling is better than anything cocaine as ever given her.
Ash squeezes her hand as he disappears back into the crowd.
Cassie spots Sean making his way towards them, she almost throws herself at him. His hands on her waist.
"Thank you" she hums still catching her breath, "for what?" He smiles pushing her hair over her shoulder.
His hand cupping at her chin "For helping me, for allowing me to have this as my life"
He leans to kiss her, "You deserve it Cass, I want to give you whatever you want for the rest of our lives"
Birdie tugs at her hand "don't give up on me now Bonnie, I'm just getting started"
Cassie beams at Sean, he pulls her back quickly "Josh is here"
"Let's take a break, desperate for a wee" she smiles, "Fine, I could do with a drink" Birdie lets Cassie lead her off the dance floor following Sean back up to their booths.
"Where's baby brother, he exited the dancefloor pretty quick" Cassie asks looking around as Sean hands her a glass.
He points to the seating in the corner "Jade has been keeping him company" he hands Birdie the second glass over the top of Cassie's head.
Both girls turn in sync to look over where Sean pointed, Ash catches them. They cackle as he subtly flips them the finger.
"How do you tell them apart after you've had a few drinks?" Josh laughs from beside Sean.
Sean shakes his head with a coy smile "Cassie has a loud mouth. I'd know my girl anywhere"
Cassie spins round "Josh!"
Both men laugh as she proves Sean's point. Josh gives her a quick hug, "this is my sister Bi-"
"Bella" Birdie butts in, Josh smiles at her leaning to greet her with a kiss on her cheek.
Birdie leans into him as he greets her, he smells like woody citrus, his hand resting lightly on her waist. He's tall, with sculpted biceps.
"Hi Bella" he smiles, Birdie feels a rush of warmth over her body as his soft Irish accent breaks through the noise of the club.
"You weren't lying when you said I needed to pay attention to Josh" Birdie giggles as they squeeze into one cubicle in the ladies.
Cassie laughs, "Gorgeous isn't he?"
"The accent and his eyes" Birdie practically drools, "I can't though"
Cassie tuts as she shimmies her underwear back up her legs "you can, what's stopping you?"
They switch places, Cassie adjusting the hem of her dress "nothing is stopping me but I haven't had a one night stand in months"
"Well tonight is the perfect time to break that draught, I've heard from countless people that he's an amazing fuck"
Birdie sighs, "It's not a draught I've been having sex, I don't know Bon I'll just be another girl on his list "
"Birdie Henderson have you seen him? Being a name on his list is definitely not the worst thing to ever happen to you" Cassie unlocks the cubicle.
"I guess, oh Bonnie I don't know" she whines washing her hands.
"Birdie just flirt a little, see what happens no one is forcing you to fuck him" Cassie shakes her hands over the sink before grabbing some paper towel.
"But if you know it went that way…I can bring him back to yours?"
Cassie tries to keep a straight face but she can't; a grin breaks through "of course you can. we can all have breakfast together tomorrow"
Birdie reaches across to shove her "shut up, you're such a cow sometimes"
Cassie checks her lipstick, before they leave the toilets.
•
It's three am when they get out of the taxi back at the flat. Ash has Jade hanging off him, Cass had laughed into Sean's ear in the taxi as they noticed Ash struggling to stay awake.
Birdie is being lead upstairs by Josh, his hand linked with hers. He'd asked her to dance and they hadn't separated since.
Sean is carrying Cassie's heels as she pads along the hall in her barefeet, fingers linked "can't wait to sleep" she sighs.
"Oh? I don't get lucky like those two?" Sean grins.
"Maybe if you're quick"
Sean pulls his key from his pocket, "I think I can manage that"
"There's waters in the fridge and paracetamol in the bathrooms" Cassie waves in the various directions as she heads for the bedroom.
"Oh not staying up for a nightcap, Bon?" Ash calls, Jade is sprawled on the sofa fighting to keep her head up and her eyes open.
"I promised Sean sex, if he's quick"
Birdie snorts out a laugh, "And they say romance is dead"
"She treats me so well" Sean laughs handing waters out to everyone "now if you'll excuse me I need to hold her to that promise. Make yourselves at home"
They all groan as he disappears into the bedroom. "I suggest we all retreat as far from their room as possible" Ash mutters helping Jade up from the sofa.
The four of them head for their separate rooms with mumbled good nights.
"I think tonight was a success" Cassie hums as she straddles Sean, his hands immediately stroke down her sides landing on the curve of her ass.
"Yeah?"
"Yep Birdie is finally loosening up, Ash didn't take any drugs and I got to come home with the best guy" she cups his face in her hands, rolling her hips down against him.
His eyes locked on hers, foreheads pressed together as she continues grinding down against him.
"The best fucking guy" she whispers, Sean's mouth drops open as he swells in his boxers "Cass, fuck" he laughs lightly.
Her head drops so she can press her lips against his bare chest, his hand curling in her hair tugging as she rocks against him.
Sean pushes her back, she squeals as she falls onto the mattress. He pulls her shorts down her legs, her feet pushing at his boxers.
Sean lets out a deep groan as he pushes into her, she's soaked taking him instantly, head thrown back onto the mattress. Sean dips his head, sucking against her neck.
"I fucking love you" he rasps, watching her as she tries to grip onto the edge of focus. "So much…so much" she whines.
Sean pins her hands above her head, his hips rolling into hers, her cunts velvet heat taking his breath away.
"This is going to be really quick" he laughs, Cassie giggles flexing her fingers against his "Oh good then I can sleep"
Sean pushes his hips into her, making her gasp "Im so fucking lucky" he laughs
Cassie nods, wrapping her legs around his waist "the luckiest"
•
Birdie groans as the harsh sun floods in through the floor to ceiling windows, she's warm the body pressed against her back isn't helping.
Her head is fuzzy, she can vividly remember Cassie pushing tequila into her hand countless times. Her whole body aches, her feet are screaming at her for wearing heels.
"Morning" the hoarse voice comes from behind her, the warmth fanning across her neck.
His arm tightens around her middle, she shuffles back into his chest. Imagines flash in her mind of that strong muscular chest above her as they moved together, hot breath mixing between them.
The flex of his back as she dug her nails in, his hand gripped against her thigh as he held her leg against his hip.
The way her name rolled off his tongue, how she gasped against his neck.
"Morning" she sighs, feeling content.
"That window is so fucking impractical" he chuckles.
"I guess if you actually close the blinds, which I think I did before I went out"
"Yeah, they were closed and then we opened them"
"Oh god we did, let's not tell Cassie what happened against the windows" she laughs, turning around to face him.
•
Cassie makes her way out of the kitchen, pushing the balcony doors open she steps out, her home is full of people she loves.
She's disgustingly hungover and her boyfriend woke her up with two orgasms, she's happy and content.
Her siblings coming down for a long weekend was just what she needed after a few tough weeks with Sean's Family.
"Morning Bon" Ash's voice breaks her silence, she turns round.
"Morning" she smiles "there's coffee in there"
"Yeah all good your husband is getting me a cup" he shrugs, pushing his sunglasses on.
"My husband" she scoffs pulling out a chair, placing her coffee cup down on the table. "Has Birdie emerged yet?" He asks.
"No, I think she's enjoying Josh before they have to go their separate ways" Cassie smirks, "Wait where's Jade?"
"Oh she left hours ago, had work or something" he pulls out a packet of cigarettes from the pocket of his hoodie.
"Ahh just a one night thing then?" Cassie holds her hand out for a cigarette. Ash lights one for her before he passes it over.
"Yeah London is all about no strings attached..although I took her number you know just incase"
Cassie nods with a roll of her eyes. Sean appears moments later, two cups of coffee and her dressing gown over his arm.
"Still have that ugly thing?" Ash laughs, taking a drag on his cigarette.
She pulls it on, bringing her legs up onto the chair "yeah it's cosy"
"It's hideous, Sean please tell her it's hideous"
"Oh she knows it's hideous" Sean takes the cigarette Ash offers, they fall into general conversation, hangovers mellowed by the morning sun.
•
"I know you're not here for much longer..but would you like to go for dinner?" Josh comes out of the en-suite, towel wrapped around his waist.
Birdie allows her gaze to linger on his body, the water droplets rolling down the defined lines and chiselled abs.
"I'm here until Monday, and I can be free tomorrow night"
He smiles, letting the towel drop from his waist "and do you come here often?"
Birdie wraps her arms around his neck as he climbs over her once again, "I don't, but I'm sure my sister would love for me to visit more"
"I'm sure she would" he hums before his face is buried in her neck, his lips pressing against the marks his teeth leave.
•
All three of them look towards the lounge as they hear voices, Sean points his cigarette at them both "behave alright?"
Cassie gives Ash a look before they nod at Sean "you said she needed to lighten up and she has so don't ruin it"
Cassie squeezes his knee as Ash laughs lightly "yes dad" he mumbles with a smirk.
Snorting out a laugh Cassie kicks Ash under the table.
"So Monday I can pick you up at 8" Josh smiles hand cupped warm against Birdies cheek as they stand at Sean's door.
"Great," she hums as he leans to kiss her.
"Coffee, Bird?" Sean calls from the kitchen as she passes, she stops "black one sugar please"
Sean nods "good night?"
She smiles "yeah really good thanks"
"They're on the balcony" he gestures to the open doors "should I be prepared?" She groans.
"I've warned them" he places a clean mug under the coffee machines spout "I'll bring this through"
Birdie thanks him again, bracing herself to face her siblings.
"Here she is" Ash cheers, arms open. Birdie rolls her eyes but lets him hug her "Bon, we need to go shopping or something. I have a date on Monday"
Cassie's head flies up from her phone "with Josh?"
"No, some other guy I met…yes Josh you idiot"
Cassie throws her a look, swallows down her reply "you can always look in my wardrobe"
Ash splutters out a laugh "she doesn't want to look like a slut on a Monday evening"
Cassie flips him off "if I wasn't so fucking hungover you'd be dead"
Birdie sighs "fine, but don't force me into anything"
"I won't, but I will stand by the fact that black dress helped you get laid"
"Look at us, we all got laid" Ash grins leaning back in his chair as his sisters tell him to shut up in unison.
Sean appears with Birdies coffee and the delivery bag of breakfast food Cassie had talked him into ordering.
"I'll get plates" Birdie gets up from the chair she'd only just sat down in. "No Bird, I'll do it, you're my guests" Cassie stands up as Ash rips open a bag of pastries.
Cassie runs her hand over Sean's shoulders "love you" she hums.
Both Ash and Birdie smirk at each other, "Sean, I'm sorry to bring this up but what the fuck have you done with my sister?" Ash laughs, crumbs flying past his lips.

Dust Bowl
Grew up hard, fell off harder Cooking our brains, smoking that shit
His daddy was harsh, but his mama was worse. Cassie understood that, the only child of a woman with a sharp tongue and hard hand. Never knew her daddy.
He was the pretty boy who frequently had blood on his knuckles and his eyes on her, She was the beautiful girl who went to church and blushed every time she caught him staring. They fell together in the dry Alabama heat. She'd sit around the workshop as he fixed the locals cars. He'd steal kisses and sips of her drinks, with a smile that made her weak.
Sean had a truck, they'd go for days driving the long roads not worrying about getting back, Cassie's legs stretched out, bare feet hanging out the window.
Some moody blues on the radio, Sean's hand tucked in the crook of her neck. By nighttime they'd take weed and beer to the truck-bed with a blanket, curl up and talk about their future.
How he'd leave all this behind if he could, his daddy had died and left him with a dying business to save. His mama was counting on him, and he felt like he had something to prove.
How she didn't want to rely on vodka like her mama. She was determined to make more of herself. No one was counting on her, but herself.
Cassie would wake sprawled across his chest, his arm protective and tight around her. Sticky from the early morning heat, skin covered in the fine layer of dust from the dirt road.
She'd always been a good girl, good for her mama and the Lord.
But, in fresh morning light she swore she felt heaven as she moved slow and steady against Sean, his hands on her waist as she rolled into him. She was closest to heaven when she was seated in his lap, and she swore that the Lord sent him for her.
The night she went to pick him up from some dive bar in town, and watched him all over some blonde. She'd hauled out of the parking lot with bile raising in her throat and burning tears on her cheeks. That's how she knew she was in love with Sean Wallace.
All she could do was cry and curse his name. Men were no good, that's what her mama would say.
He'd come around a day later, had seen her taillights as she left the lot and stayed away to let her calm down. He knew exactly what she'd assumed, "you're wrong and if you can't see that, then I ain't the man for you, darling"
She'd stood on the front porch, curls falling in her face, one of his Budweiser T-shirts on, "you are the man for me, but I don't wanna see you with other girls"
He'd caught her pouting lips with his, holding her against the wooden door "I don't need no other girls when I'm in love with you"
She never had to wonder if he was sure from that day on.

Part Eight - Safe Inside.
The stick sitting on the counter is taunting her, she's not even sure how this happened, well she knows how it happened but she was taking precautions. She doesn't recall missing any.
The timer on her phone ringing out makes her jump.
With her lip pulled between her teeth she flips it over. She feels sick before a rush of relief washes over her.
'Not Pregnant'
Thank god for that. She doesn't want to be a mother, she doesn't want to be tied down to a child for life.
Cassie squeezes her eyes shut, she didn't have a maternal bone in her body. She would be just like her own mother and she didn't want to be that for anyone.
She texts Sean 'false alarm'
His text flies back 'thank fuck for that. Love you x'
She shakes her head, typing back just to wind him up 'pick condoms up on the way home'
'Fuck off'
-
Cassie is curled up on the sofa, the remains of a Chinese takeaway on the coffee table. The doorbell ringing pulls her attention from the trashy TV show she has on.
She gets up as the person starts to hammer on the door "fucking hell, what the fuck is going on?" She pulls the door open.
Elliot barges in, shoving past her "oh hi Elliot everything ok? Yeah Cass, great you?" She sarcastically mutters.
"Cass, you need to pack a bag and come with me" his voice is stern.
"What? why?" she closes the door. "I'll explain in the car"
Cassie chucks clothes into a bag for her and one for Sean, grabbing chargers and laptops.
Elliot is waiting in the lounge, "Cass? nearly ready?" he calls.
"Yeah, I'm coming" She flicks out lights, Elliot takes the bags from her.
"Whats going on?" she asks again, once they're in his car. "Where's Sean?"
"He's waiting for you, he'll explain" Elliot is speeding through the streets of London, his eyes constantly flicking to check the rear view mirror.
Cassie frowns "You said you'd tell me" she argues, Elliot turns to look at her
"He's fine, okay? He'll explain" Cassie huffs but doesn't ask again, knowing she wouldn't get anywhere with him.
Cassie follows Elliot up the steps of the townhouse, he lets them in. There's a ringing in her ears she just wants to see Sean, wants to know he's ok.
"I'll take these up" Elliot gestures to their bags, Cassie thanks him as the door to her left opens.
Sean steps out, Cassie feels herself relax at the sight of him, almost throwing herself in his arms.
"What the fuck is going on?" she hisses as he holds her against him.
Sean leads her into the kitchen, there's half drunk glasses of wine on the table, food boxes on the side.
"Sean..you're worrying me" she bites at her lip, he tangles their fingers together.
Sean pulls her to sit on his lap, "Don't lose your head okay?" he asks.
Cassie frowns "Whats happened? Where the fuck are we?"
Sean presses his forehead against hers "Its a safe house, we just need to stay for a few days" he explains.
"A safe house? from what?" she asks pulling back to look at him, she's met with his blue eyes can see the emotion swimming in them.
"Cass… I was alm—, tonight- I was..almost fuck sake" he stops takes a deep breath.
Cassie cups his face in her hands "slow down, it's me"
"I was almost shot" he feels her stiffen as he says it out loud, Cassie slides off his lap "What the fuck?"
Sean grabs for her, but she pulls back "Who by? Who was it?"
"We don't know right now. Elliot shot the woman who tried. We've got her downstairs for answers"
Cassie can't comprehend what he's telling her. She takes a seat pouring herself a glass of wine, downs the contents without a second thought.
Sean is watching her closely "Hey baby, Cass… come here" he reaches out for her.
She slides onto his lap, burying her face in his chest "fuck sake, I hate this"
He rests his chin on top of her head "I know, I'm sorry I dragged you into this"
"I want you, I want all of you but fucking hell I hate thinking about the possibility of you dying" she bites at her lip
"Cass.. are you— are you having second thoughts about us? this?" He asks, hands stroking over her hair.
Cassie pulls back, "what? No, not at all. Do you really think I'm capable of giving you up?" She gives him a smile
"You just told me you were almost shot and now we're in some safe house hiding"
Sean's fingers are pressing into her hips, as he nods "i get it, it's a lot"
Cassie laughs "its a lot to take in when my boyfriend thinks almost getting shot isn't a big deal"
Sean cups her face in his hands "you'd tell me right? If something was bothering you"
Cassie nods, licking her lips "Of course. Now tell me are we sharing this place with your mother?"
Sean averts his eyes as he nods "Yeah, and Billy"
Cassie leans across to grab the wine, taking a sip straight from the bottle.
Sean relaxes slightly taking it from her closing his lips around the top and taking his own large swig. "We have more right?" She giggles.
"Stocked up we're take some to bed" his lips are flushed red with the wine, Cassie leans forward running her tongue over them the bitter taste making her hum.
"Are we far enough away from everyone?" She asks, moving so she can nip and suck at his neck. Sean hisses as the feeling shoots to his cock.
"Top floor no one else" his head falls back as she grinds down against him, her lips burning against his skin.
She pulls back, getting off his lap "come on then"
Cassie grabs two bottles of wine and her handbag, Sean locks their hands together leading her to the top floor.

Birdie is pulled from a light sleep by the unmistakable tone of her phone.
Flicking on the light she hears Steve groan from beside her.
"Bonnie what's wrong?" She sits up reaching for her glass of water her throat dry.
"Shit sorry Bird you're asleep already?" Cassie asks she can hear the frown in her voice.
"Uh yeah why what's the time?" She mutters "half nine bird, you've either hit a new boring low or you've been fucking"
"Shut up Bonnie what's up?" She sighs, Cassie smirks "been fucking your boss again"
"Cassandra" Birdie warns her. "Lighten up honestly Birdie you'd think all of this fu-"
"Bon if you don't stop I'm hanging up"
"Fine, whatever"
"What is it?" Birdie tries again "Actually Birds it's fine, I shouldn't have called"
"Oh fuck sake Bon, don't get all bratty because I won't entertain you teasing me"
She knows her sister is rolling her eyes "I'm not getting bratty look it's fine I just wanted to let you know I'm fine like nothing has happened but we're currently in this fucking safe house"
"Fucking hell Bonnie, why the fuck does Sean have a safe house?" Birdie sighs, Bonnie hears the door creak in the background.
"for moments like this I guess? I don't know he didn't exactly woo me by telling me he has one"
"Bon, if you've got to go to a safe house then something big has happened"
"Sean was almost shot, there's people who want him dead"
Cassie sighs, braces herself for Birdies onslaught of concern.
"Cass, I love you and I'm saying this with love. How the fuck do you get yourself in these situations"
"I don't know Birdie. He's so pretty I think I was lured in by it" she laughs.
"So people want him dead and you're in hiding?"
Cassie sighs, "Yeah and I'm not meant to tell you but surely being twins we're the same person?"
"Oh Bonnie, I don't think I'd survive a day as you" Birdie laughs "and you'd be so disgusted by the thought of seeing Steve naked you'd simply pass away"
They sink into fits of laughter before Birdie turns serious and tells her to be fucking careful and to call her when she's no longer in hiding.

Cassie sits on the edge of the bathroom side as Sean stands under the steaming water of the shower.
Cassie wasn't pleased living under the same roof as Marian, but she guessed the only other alternative was death. She smirks at the thought of death possibly being kinder.
Her eyes travel over Sean's body, his defined muscles and sharp edges, offset by the softness of his frame.
"You need to stop this” she speaks softly, he has his back to her “this is destroying you” she bites at the skin on the side of her thumb. She usually tries not to speak up about the business.
“I need to know who killed my father” his voice is measured, “someone tried to kill you” she argues back, keeping her voice low “and they didn't, so just leave it yeah?”
Cassie pushes off the side, makes her way to the shower she undresses.
“I'm not going to leave it” she steps into the shower behind him, wraps her arms around his waist from behind. "They could actually do it next time"
He leans back into her “Your mum has gone fucking mad, Sean” she bites her lip, feels his body stiffen “Cass” he gives her a warning.
“Billy is losing his mind listening to that woman fucking cry out in pain, while your mum tortures her"
“Cassie” he tries again, voice slightly sterner “No, don't try and brush me off”
He spins around, pushing her against the shower wall, his hand cups her chin, fingers adding slight pressure.
“Don't fucking start” he grits his teeth, “don't push me”
Cassie pushes his head back slightly, eyes locked on his as her other hand slides between them, fingers curling around his semi hard cock, his gaze doesn't leave her as she starts to talk.
“you let me into this world, and I'm not being left here without you”
His mouth drops open as she moves her hand, “I'm not being left here with your mother breathing down my neck”
Sean composes himself, pressing his lips to hers, he effortlessly lifts her up, her legs around his waist.
“I'm not fucking leaving you” he breathes against her ear as she guides his solid cock into her waiting cunt.
She whines as he thrusts up into her, stretching her around him “but-- the less you know the better”
Her nails are digging into his shoulders “I want you alive, I want you to not fucking see the vile part of this world” he's pounding into her, as she cries out.
“I've seen it, I see it when you come home covered in blood with the most vacant look behind your eyes, I've seen it when Billy is down there climbing the walls for a hit to take away the feeling”
The bathroom door swings open, her eyes fly open to look at the intruder, Sean looks over his shoulder “fuck sake mum, get out” he shouts as Marian backs up, her eyes still locked on Cassie.
“Fuck sake” Sean laughs, feeling himself go soft inside her, she unwraps her legs from around him as he slips out.
“Christ I can't even get fucked without being interrupted by your family” Cassie laughs pushing Sean back under the stream of water, grabbing the body wash.
Sean rolls his eyes “we will be back home soon, I'll fuck you wherever you want” he smirks as she lathers up his chest with the soap.
“I'm not letting you leave the house for at least two days” she drops to her knees, using the soap on his legs, moving her hands up to his cock.
He watches her as she smiles, her hand curling back round him.
His pushes his hand into her damp hair, twisting his grip slightly so she's looking up at him “if you're going to suck it don't fucking tease” his eyes flash darker.
Cassie hums in approval, she loves this side of him. She opens her mouth, sticks out her tongue waiting, Sean grins as his hand replaces hers, guiding his cock into her mouth.
“Such a good girl” he groans, pushing his hips forward, she gags around him the sound making him twitch in her mouth.
The water is hammering onto his back, spraying her face as she sucks on him, “take me so well” he praises.
She flicks a look up at him from under her lashes as she moans around him.
Sean lets out a low groan, head hung back as she licks and sucks his throbbing cock, his hands pulling at her hair, she hollows out her cheeks, taking him down her throat as her hand cups his balls.
She's gagging around him, the noise sinful as she bobs her head, saliva and cum running down her chin, her eyes bloodshot and watering as she lets him bump against her throat.
“Cass, fuck fuckkk” he moans knees bucking as his stomach tensed, her hands grip his thighs.
Cassie pulls back the string of saliva on her lip connecting to the head of his cock, Sean is watching her through half lidded eyes “so fucking beautiful” he rasps.
He pumps at his cock as she opens her mouth, letting him release ropes of cum across her face, onto her tongue. He steadies himself against the wall with his free hand.
“Jesus Christ, Cass” he sighs, sliding down onto the shower floor exhausted.
Both of them sit under the stream of water, Cassie cleans her face, before he links their fingers, he pulls her onto his lap.
"I keep thinking how mental I was going wondering if you were pregnant" he hangs his head back "Why? Did you want me to be?" She asks.
Sean's head flies up "No, not at all. We don't want it but fuck the thought of you having to go through something to get rid of it"
He presses his forehead against hers "I want you, I don't want to share you with anyone especially not a baby" he smirks.
Cassie leans to kiss him "god imagine if it was a girl and she was your favourite, I'd be sick"
Sean laughs, the water pouring over them.
“I would die for you, you know that?” He asks hands cupping her bum, her legs bent either side of his thighs.
She nods cupping his face in her hands, “and I'd kill for you, Sean Wallace” she hums, he smiles with a nod “I know and that terrifies me”
Cassie leans forward to kiss him, hands on his chest. Sean pulls away first “Come on, let's go see what Billy's decided to bake this time” he smirks.
She presses a quick kiss to his lips before she stands up, turning the shower off and holding out her hands for him.
Sean bundles her into him once they're out of the shower, both of them dripping on the heated floor.
“I love you” his hands cup her ass as she looks up at him “i love you” she stands on tiptoes to kiss him again.
Once they're dressed, Cassie makes her way downstairs calling for Billy, Sean touches her arm nodding towards the basement level of the house “going to check on mum” he sighs.
Cassie gives him a look as she nods “fine, but don't be long” she squeezes his hand as she heads to the kitchen.
Billy is passed out on the sofa, the metal spoon and syringe on the coffee table.
“fuck sake” she runs her hand through her hair “Sean” she calls, hoping to catch him before he shuts himself away in that room.
The sound of his footsteps bounding down the hall, he flies into the lounge eyes landing on Billy “fucking hell” he shouts, kicking the coffee table, startling Billy awake.
-
Tonight Cassie is allowed inside the walls of the Wallace Palace.
She knows his mum and sister still haven't accepted her, Jacqueline could possibly be close to doing so, but Marian wasn't going to give in.
The reception from them is just as expected. Marian is frosty, looking her up and down. Giving her a half smile before she hugged Sean hello.
Jacqueline at least acknowledges her with a polite kiss to the cheek.
Billy is her saviour, he bundles her into a hug and pulls her into the lounge for a glass of wine.
Shannon Dumani is also welcoming, more so than Ed and Alex who give off the same frosty reception as Marian.
Shannon brushes them off telling Cass not to bother with them and joins the wine drinking in the lounge.
Sean notices how Cassie's eyes flash with emotion as she looks across at him. He's knows what she's thinking. He knows she feels embarrassed.
The way his mum dismissed her presence as she entered. The Dumanis being indifferent to him introducing her.
Sean grabs a flute of champagne and heads across the room.
"Cass" his lips graze against her ear, as his arm hooks around her waist.
“Hey" she turns her face to look at him, he hooks his fingers with hers "Can I steal her away?" He asks, Billy nods with a roll of his eyes.
Sean pulls her towards the kitchen, the back room quiet "sorry"
Cassie shakes her head, "It was awful, Sean" she runs a hand through her styled hair. "I've been nervous all day, fuck sake all week and then I turn up here to that kind of reception"
He's trying to keep hold of her waist, ground her. "I saw the looks they gave me, and I tried so fucking hard to look the part, to be that perfect posh girl they expected"
Sean takes her in, the black dress skimming mid thigh the almost sheer black hold ups that he'd caught a glimpse of when she'd been putting her heels on, the black lace tops around her thighs almost sending him feral.
"You don't need to be that, I don't want that. I want you just as you are" his forehead is pressed to hers, hands cupping her cheeks.
She has nothing to worry about in his eyes. She's stunning, beautiful.
"You promised me" she whispers, eyes flicking up to his. He nods licking his lips "I know, but I can't control them Cass"
Sean sighs, knowing his next statement is going to go down like a lead balloon.
"I need to head out for a little while"
Cassie frowns at him "and leave me here?"
"I won't be long I'll be back before the main course is served"
"Sean, you can't seriously be leaving me here"
"You've got Billy and Shannon, I'll talk to them tell them to keep close"
Cassie shook her head "No, I'll go home and wait for you"
Sean cups her face in his hands "Stay please, for me"
She sighs she doesn't want to argue, she doesn't want to make a tense atmosphere.
"you better be back before dinner is over and you need to tell Billy to stay by my side until you are"
Sean kisses her, pulls back with a smile "love you"
Cassie rolls her eyes "yeah yeah you've got your own way don't try to suck up to me now"
Sean laughs, kissing her again "I can make it up to you later"
Cassie hums in appreciation "love you" she giggles.
Sean grins, presses a soft kiss to her forehead "I won't be late" he adds grabbing his jacket.
She watches him make his way down the steps to his car before she heads back inside.
'I know about those naughty holdups you have on'
His text has a smile pulling on her face, as she refills her wine 'good, you'll be thinking about them all evening x'
-
Dinner is tense and awkward, Billy is trying to lighten the mood with sarcastic comments and snarky digs.
Cassie wants to run, wants to excuse herself and head home.
She can't believe Sean has left her, in a room full of people who don't want her around.
The staff Marian had hired for the evening, start bringing out the main course, Cassie knew he wouldn't be back in time.
She downs the end of her fourth glass of wine. Planning how to make her exit without causing a scene.
-
The front door slams open, Elliot is dragging someone in. It takes a second for Cassie to realise the person is Sean.
She feels the panic roll through her, the ringing in her ears as she watches Elliot clear the dining table with one swift move, shouting for Billy and Alex to help him.
She can see the dark crimson blood under the rag pressed to Sean's chest, can hear him, he's in pain and she needs to be there.
She tries to move but she feels unsteady.
"Sean" she's next to him, she doesn't recall moving, trying to hold his hand.
He's barely conscious, but he's registered her "Cass-"
Cassie shakes her head "Don't speak ok? You're going to be ok"
She runs her hand over the top of his head "I love you" and then she feels herself being moved away, her grip on his hand loosens.
-
Cassie isn't sure how long she's been sat in the lounge room of the hospital, Billy had shown up with coffee and one of Sean's hoodies, she'd happily wrapped herself in.
Billy is next to her, knee bobbing, chewing his thumb nail. She can feel his anxiety radiating off him, can sense his need to run, to find something to blur the edges of the evening.
"What if he doesn't make it?" He whispers, Cassie's head shoots round "Bill-"
"No I'm serious, did you see all the blood?" His eyes are wide, he's pale shaking "he will make it" she states, taking his hand "he has to for us" she adds.
When she wakes up from a fitful sleep, she's alone in the lounge Billy long gone, letting his demons win against his better judgment.
She sits up stretches herself out, the sharp pain in her neck reminding her she's been laying in one position for too long. She just wants to see Sean, wants to know what's happening.
Catching a glimpse of herself in the bathroom mirror, the smear of his blood on her cheek, the new dress now a reminder of the worst evening of her life, his blood soaked into the delicate material.
She splashes her face with the ice cold water, letting it trickle down her cheeks, forming droplets on her chin she watches as they fall into the basin.
She doesn't even know what room he's in, it was all a blur of Marian shouting at her shoving her from the room, the nurses and doctors swarming around Sean, the sounds of the machines ringing in her ears.
She just wants to be by his side. Wants to tell him it's going to be okay and she's not going anywhere. She can't bare the thought of him waking up and her not being there.
Jacqueline is coming through the doors of the waiting area when Cassie drags herself back, she looks exhausted, rubbing her hands over her baby bump. "Cassie, you should go" she speaks first.
Cassie shakes her head, taking her seat on the sofa again "no I'm staying, I need to be here when he wakes up"
Jacqueline lowers herself into the chair opposite "she won't let you see him"
Cassie shrugs, "when he wakes up and asks for me she can't refuse"
Jac sighs, stretching her legs out in front of her "he's awake, he hasn't asked for you"
Cassie feels the bile rise in her throat, the ringing in her ears "that's a lie" she hisses, Jac shakes her head "he's been awake hours and he hasn't mentioned you" she's looking at the floor almost ashamed to be telling her this.
Cassie doesn't believe her, she knows Marian has told her what to say, she knows Sean. "I'll stay here, he's been through a lot he just needs time"
Jac stands up, "have you seen Billy?" Cassie looks up at her "he left, hours ago" Jac nods, before she turns to leave "Go home Cassie"
-
In the end she had to go home, she had to leave the lifeless halls of the hospital, she'd watched Marian walking to the vending machine, chased after her and demanded to see him.
Marian had ignored her, shoved past her. She'd stopped at the door to his ward "just leave us alone" her voice was strong and calm, the steely look on her face before she turned away.
Cassie feels comfort when she gets back to the flat, they'd left it in a rush.
Running late for dinner, the almost empty glasses in the kitchen, because Sean had insisted on finishing the bottle of red they'd opened the previous evening.
Their towels in a pile on the bathroom floor, the clothes from the day strewn across the room, from their urgent need to be pressed close together.
Her stomach lurches at the thought of her and Sean wrapped around each other on the sofa, bodies warm from sex and the sun through the floor to ceiling windows.
How she'd jokingly suggested staying home together, naked with a takeaway. Sean has hesitated, seeming to think it over "we can't, I promised Billy" he had frowned.
Cassie nodded because letting Billy down wasn't something either of them would do.
So instead she'd dragged them from the sofa, let him wrap himself around her as she sorted her hair and her make up his lips on her neck, nuzzling into her curls and hands stroking her naked body.
He'd sighed 'I love yous' against her skin, left burning kisses on her neck.
She swipes her tears away, pull her clothes off, grabbing another one of his hoodies from the chair, wrapping herself back in his scent, his comfort.
She leaves the flat in their lived in mess, she crawls under the duvet, curling into his side of the bed.
-
"I can come, do you want me to come?" Birdies voice is soft, a comfort to her. "No, it's fine Bird."
"Are you sure? I can speak to Steve I'm sure he'll give me a few days that I can make up when I get back"
"Honestly, don't worry I'm not much fun right now" she tries to laugh, "you don't have to be fun. I just don't like the thought of you alone"
Cassie sighs, stretching her legs out on the sofa, eyes darting around the room still a mess, possibly even more so now. "I'll be fine, I just need to know what's happening"
"Yeah of course, has no one contacted you?" Cassie can hear the commotion of a school day in the background.
"No, I've called and text but nothing. I'm going out of my mind here" she finally admits.
"Bon, I don't mind coming" she tries again "No Birdie, I'm alright"
Birdie knows not to push her, it's a miracle she even called and told her what was happening. "Fine, but the offer is there"
"I know, thank you" Bonnie tries to sound grateful, "or you could come here?" Birdie suggests.
"I can't leave, I can't be in Bristol if he asks to see me"
"Yeah sorry I didn't think"
"Don't worry Birdie, I know you're just worried"
"Yeah I am"
"Birdie, I'll call if I need anything okay?"
"Okay, let me know if anything changes"
"I will, I love you"
"Love you Bon" she hangs up first, the shrill ring of the school bell the last thing Cassie hears before the line cuts.
She couldn't go to Bristol and she certainly couldn't have Birdie here fussing around her. She'd be fine.
-
Sean can't quite figure out where Cassie is, the first thing he asks for when he comes round is her, panicked and confused. Jac is by his side, trying to calm him.
His throat is sore, but he asks over and over for her. He knows Jac is ignoring him, she's shushing him telling him to rest. His mum is the other side of the bed.
Quiet and watching over him like he's going to slip away at any moment. He turns to look at her, he just wants to know if Cassie is okay. He can't remember much, he's worried she was hurt.
"She's not here" Marian finally speaks, tucking her hand over his "she left almost straight away"
Sean frowns, no that's not right. He can vividly see her standing over him, telling him she was there she loves him. "No" he croaks, mouth dry "where..is she?"
Jac holds the glass of water up, guiding the straw to his lips, he gulps some down gratefully. "She left before the ambulance even arrived" his mum is talking again "that's not true" he spits, the nauseous feeling washing over him.
He doesn't know if it's true, he knows she was there at some point. He can see her, can feel her hand on his cheek. She wouldn't have just left him.
"Where's my phone?" He tries to reach to the small cabinet at his bed side, the pain shooting through his shoulder and chest pushes him back against the cushions. "Sean, relax" Jac warns him, "I need to talk to Cassie"
Marian sighs "your phone was damaged, I've asked Alex to sort it"
Sean is trying to make sense of what's happening, why does no one want him to see Cassie. "Is Cassie alive?" He asks looking at Jacqueline, she frowns "yes, she's wasn't with you when it happened"
Sean nods, his head is a mess. "Cassie left at the first sign of trouble" Marian states, Sean finds that hard to believe "No, she wouldn't do that"
He watches Marian flick a look towards Jacqueline. If he wasn't on a cocktail of pain medication he would have figured out what that look means.
-
Cassie has been moving through the motions for a week, a week since she last saw Sean, the image of him covered in blood on his family dining table flashing on repeat through her mind.
The crimson blood streaking her hand as she pulled away, Shannon guiding her to a chair, handing her water to sip.
She could see Jacqueline tending to him, Elliot shoving a cloth in his mouth as Jac dug the bullet from his chest.
His ear piercing scream as she pushed the vodka bottle against the wound.
The hurried rushed voices as he started fading out of consciousness.
The screech of the ambulance sirens, Shannon helping her into the taxi following the ambulance.
Marian had refused to let her into the back of the ambulance with him. She'd sat in the back of the taxi sobbing, telling Shannon she was sorry, trying to joke that this was an awful first impression of her.
A week since Marian pushed her out of the private ward, told her in no uncertain terms she wasn't wanted at his bedside, she wasn't part of this family.
A week since Jacqueline had told her Sean hadn't asked for her when he woke up. She didn't believe her.
She'd been calling his phone at first it rung out over and over but now it was switched off. His voicemail the only thing connecting her to him.
His posh London drawl filling her ear as she dials again and again, only leaving his voicemail box with a split second of her sobs.
Her heartbreaks for the last time she saw him, covered in tubes machines around him. His family distraught, his mother ordering her to leave them alone. Doctors and nurses rushing around shouting orders.
She had caught Marian staring at the purple mark on his chest. The deep bruise she had left there the night before, while he fucked her slowly, her mouth pressed to him as he watched her.
If she thought hard enough she could still feel him tensing beneath her mouth, her eyes locked on his as she marked him as hers, his fingers pushed through her hair. Telling her she was his girl, his good girl.
She'd watched the disgust flash across Marian's face, the realisation that her precious son was an adult with his own life.
The flat was stuffy, she'd hardly left bed. She had dragged herself for a shower the evening before, stood under the rainfall stream of water, letting it hammer against her body.
Washed her hair as she cried for him, for them. Everything was so unfair, they'd found each other and now they were being forced apart.
She'd pulled another one of his jumpers on over her damp skin, plaited her hair and climbed back under the covers.
Her screen lighting up with a text from Birdie.
'Anything? x'
'No x'
Cassie knows she's being rude, but she doesn't want to talk to anyone. She knows Birdie is just wanting to check in.
'Call me if you need anything x'
She tucks her phone under her pillow, curling tight into the bedcovers. Blocking out the world.
-
Sean has been in a haze of morphine fuelled sleep and painful reminders when he wakes that Cassie isn't here.
For a few moments whenever he wakes up he expects her to be next to his bed, waits for her to walk through the door.
That silly grin on her face as she holds coffee cups up in triumph, and then he falls back to reality with a heart breaking thump.
She's not walking through the door, she's not refusing to leave his bedside.
The door opens, he holds his breath for a moment, hoping.
Jacqueline enters instead "did you get my phone?" He asks.
Jac rolls her eyes, places some things on the cabinet beside his bed "No, Alex is sorting it" she takes a seat with a drawn out sigh.
"You didn't have to come, go home and rest"
She looks at him, "I'm fine, I'm resting here"
Sean moves back against the pillows, he's sick of being in this room, in this bed constantly watched, monitored he couldn't even piss without someone hovering outside the door.
"Has the doctor done his rounds?" Jac asks, head back against the chair eyes closed.
"Yes, although I wasn't needed mum done all the talking, decision making and anything else he needed"
Jac lifts her head "she worries"
Sean frowns at her "I know I was out of it for a while but when did you side with our mother?"
"When you got shot"
Sean shakes his head, "if you know more than you're letting on then enlighten me, I'm sick of being kept in the dark"
"What do you think I know?" It's her turn to frown "well for one Billy hasn't shown his face so he's either been told to stay away or no one knows where he is"
Jac nods "a bit of both"
"Right, and the fact my girlfriend hasn't been here is very concerning"
Sean reaches for his water taking a sip "because you've assured me she wasn't hurt, but I refuse to believe she's left. So I'm guessing she's also been told to stay away"
Jac sits up, hand instantly stroking across her bump "She wasn't hurt and she hasn't been told to stay away, she left, exactly like mum said"
Sean groans, running a hand over his face "she's lying, I wish you wouldn't cover for her, why fucking start now Jac? You've never helped her before"
Jac reaches for his hand, for a second she thinks he's going to pull away but he doesn't he lets her take it "because it's never been you in the middle of it, but I promise you she's telling the truth"
Sean bites his lip, he knows he's going to get no where with her, even though their mum isn't in the room. He doesn't answer her, stubbornly turning his head to look out of the window.

So he booked them a break in Agadir, Morocco - 5* resort for his girl, private beach and loads of relaxing!
He's hoping this will help with her forgiving him but he has thousands of other ideas just incase she's still mad 🤭
